We improved MFA so that Admin users can unlock regular users from having their access blocked. This occurs after too many failed login attempts when the password is wrong, for example. |
Why did we do that? |
Customers told us that the process of requiring Support to restore users who have been locked out of the system was cumbersome, and requested a workaround. |
Why does this matter to you, as a client/customer/user? |
Thanks to this enhancement, it should not be necessary to call Support and have a Rep perform user account unlocks. |
How does this work? |
Admin Users with the required permission can access the user unlock feature by going to a user's profile and clicking the appropriate button. |

- Reset MFA - This will completely reset the user's MFA factor, allowing them to change their phone number, email, etc... See Allow Self-Service Registered Phone Number Reset - 10/28/2022 [RN] for more information.
- Unblock User - this will unblock the user from being locked out and allow them to gain entrance with the same username and password
