Activities to be Logged When Contract Ends - 11/28/2022 [RN]

What's new?	We improved Talent Profiles by adding an activity type of "Contract End." This will be logged when the Hired Detail "End Date" is set to be previous to or the same as the current date.
Why did we do that?	Clients said they are looking to see a "hard-coded" activity when a talent's contract ends.
Why does this matter to you, as a client/customer/user?	Thanks to this enhancement, there is a new activity type for "Contract End" on the Talent Profile. Notes for the activity include: Date the contract ended Notes logged in the Hired Details for this contract
How does this work?	For an accurate display of when a talent's contract ended, you can use this feature: If a talent has been started on a contract role from Avionté, and the Hired Detail "End Date" is set to the current date or a date in the past, an activity will be logged on the Talent Profile for "Contract End". This activity will include the Hired Detail Notes in the detail of the "Contract End" activity It will include the date that the contract ended in the Hired Details To take mass action to end multiple jobs on a given day, this feature also applies: If multiple talent have been started on multiple jobs, an HCM User can go to Mass Actions - either for job details, or job search. There the user can choose to Mass Update End Dates & Reasons, and change the End Date to a date in the past or the current date. At this point, an activity will be logged on the Talent Profile for "Contract End." This activity will include the Hired Detail Notes in the detail of the "Contract End" activity It will include the date that the contract ended in the Hired Details
