Symmetry Tasks
Symmetry Tasks allow for easy creation of correctly filled out tax forms. To use Symmetry Tasks in Avionté requires a 24/7 Onboarding subscription and Symmetry Tax Forms must be enabled as onboarding tasks in the Talent Onboarding Tasks utility tile.
After Symmetry Tasks have been enabled as a whole, specific forms can be enabled, such as for local or state forms.
Note: The Federal W-4 cannot be turned off as an option.
Clicking individual tasks allows for further configuration options such as due date, instructions and permissions. To set permissions, choose users or groups from their respective drop-down menus, and click the plus sign to add them. Check the boxes for View or Delete to enable those permissions.
Sending Tasks to Talent
- On the Talent Record, open the Onboarding tab
- Click Send Onboarding Tasks and open the Symmetry section
- Use the dropdown menu to select desired tasks and click the plus sign after each to add them for sending.
Note: These can also be included in workflows. - Click Send. Successfully sent tasks will be viewable in Onboarding Tasks
Completing Symmetry Tasks
Talent can complete tasks from either the BOLD talent portal or the 24/7 mobile app. The personal information from their talent record will fill the relevant sections of the W-4.
If the talent completes a task on their computer, the resulting PDF file will be automatically downloaded to their computer. If they complete it through the mobile app, the PDF is accessible by a link, but is not automatically downloaded to the device.
Regardless of the method the talent uses, completed files are accessible from the Documents tab in the talent record.
Fields from completed documents will be properly mapped into the Talent's record in Classic.
Guided Mode
The Guided Mode Symmetry task will determine and send the proper Federal, State and Local forms to the talent, based on their Home Address and Worksite Address.
If the talent have started on a placement or are nominated to a job, Guided Mode can be used. Guided Mode requires both a Home Address on the Talent Profile and a Worksite Address on the job. Not including a Worksite Address will result in errors.
After Guided Mode is selected, the user will be prompted to select a job, which may be any job for which the talent has been nominated, or a job they have started.
Guided Mode can also be included in workflows. If sending manually, the user will be prompted to select the job for the workflows.
Some automation trigger conditions to consider when Guided Mode is included in workflows to be sent via automation:
- If Automation Trigger is a Job Stage, the Worksite Address for that job will be used
- Guided Mode Symmetry Tasks can not be send when the Automation Trigger is Talent Status
