Experian | Additional Languages | Career Page UI Updates - 3/29/2024
🚀 What's New
-
In order to present the Talent with different language options to complete the Experian WOTC survey, we have added new language & localization option in the "Add a new language" screen of the Career Editor page in BOLD.The dropdown values for Localization & Language are:
- English
- Spanish
- Chinese
- Tagalog
- French
- Korean
- Vietnamese
Users will not be able to proceed if a selection has not been made.
Why?
- When a user is completing a BOLD online application in a language of preference, we need the Experian WOTC survey to be presented to the user in the same language so that the user can read and understand the survey questions.
How does this impact you?
-
Users will need to select the language and localization on the Career Editor Page and ensure that every language has a localization configured in order for the survey to display in the preferred language.
24/7 | System Email Settings | Allow Enable/Disable - 3/25/2024
🚀 What's New
- We've improved the talent experience in Bold by allowing for the disablement of the onboarding task assignment email notifications for customers using 24/7 Onboarding.
Why?
- Customer feedback noted that with the adoption of 24/7 Onboarding, which already provides SMS and in-app notifications alerting talent to onboarding task assignments, the standard email was no longer needed.
How does this impact you?
- Thanks to this enhancement you can now control whether or not this email is being sent by accessing Utilities > System Email Settings > Edit Assigned Tasks and clicking the new Enable/Disable toggle if you are using 24/7 Onboarding.
Gmail / BOLD | Updated Modern Authentication Integration - 3/25/2024
🚀 What's New
- We've improved the recruiter experience in Bold by allowing users who wish to integrate Bold with Gmail to configure a new modern/streamlined integration via the Marketplace.
Why?
- Previously, the only way to integrate Bold with Gmail was via Custom SMTP and IMAP Auto-Sync under utilities. Google has established a newer modern authentication method to integrate Bold with Gmail that removes the need for storing passwords and integration configuration settings in a 3rd party application such as Bold.
How does this impact you?
-
For any Bold user that currently is integrated with Gmail via Custom SMTP or Auto-Sync (IMAP) under utilities, you'll need to setup your integration under the Gmail widget in the Bold Marketplace. This change will need to be done by every user before Google disabled the older integration methods in September 2024. Please refer to the linked KB article for a step-by-step guide to configuring your integration.

Talent Search | New Search Term For Full SSN Search - 3/22/2024
🚀 What's New
- We've improved the recruiter experience in Bold by adding a new Talent Search term for "Full SSN/SIN", allowing recruiters to search for a talent using the full SSN (US) or SIN (Canada).
Why?
- Customer feedback noted frequently the fastest way to identify a talent user is by full SSN or SIN, and being limited to only the last 4 digits of SSN/SIN in the existing search returned too many false positives.
How does this impact you?
-
Once enabled, recruiter users will be able to search on a talent's full SSN using the new "Full SSN/SIN" search term on the talent search.
NOTE: This field's data/value is hidden for privacy by default, clicking the eye icon will display what has been entered.
Talent Activities | Implement Multi-Pick Filter With Defaults - 3/08/2024
🚀 What's New
- We've improved the recruiter experience in Bold by enhancing the talent activity log filter, allowing users to multi-select different activity types to be shown instead of being limited to only filtering a single activity type.
Why?
- Customer feedback noted the desire to view more than either "All" activities or a single activity type using the filters in the talent activity log. Certain types of activities are always of interest, and some may usually not be of importance to a given recruiter.
How does this impact you?
- Thanks to this enhancement, Bold users will have more granular flexibility in the activity log filter settings on a Talent profile.
