Daily SMS Summary - 4/29/2024

🚀 What's New

  • We've improved the recruiter experience in Bold by adding new Daily SMS Summary capabilities in Bold, which consolidate all of the previous day's sent and received SMS messages into a single activity log entry for a talent.

Why?

  • Customer feedback noted that with increased SMS capabilities in the Bold platform, the amount of individual sent and received SMS messages makes it difficult to get a full view of the day to day conversations via SMS via a talent's activity log.


How does this impact you?

  • Customers may now optionally choose to have the new "Daily SMS Summary" feature turned on in their build to automatically provide daily summary talent activity log entries. Individual messages are still visible in addition to the daily summaries. Please contact your account manager to enable this feature for you.

 

Talent Dates | BO | Create New Static Talent Date Fields - 4/26/2024

🚀 What's New

  • For back office integrated clients, new static date fields have been added to the Employee > Details screen in back office.  You'll now find fields for Available Date, Rehire Date, & Termination Date.

Why?

  • These fields were added so that we could sync these dates from BOLD to back office.


How does this impact you?

  • Clients will now be able to have these talent dates available to them in back office.  These fields will be read only because they will be syncing from BOLD.

    Back office only clients, will not have these date fields available to them as those clients are already tracking these dates in the Employee > Dates screen.

     

 

24/7 | Process Placements Updates with End Dates in the Past - 4/17/2024

🚀 What's New

  • We are allowing the ability to process assignments updated with end dates in the past.

Why?

  • We did this because due to the nature of how Bold processed time stamps we had been unable to end an assignment the same day of the assignment.  As such, if a client canceled a job 2 hours before the job was to start and the client updated the information in Bold only, the update would fail and the talent would be unaware that their assignment was canceled.


How does this impact you?

  • It allows the customer to update assignments in Bold on the day of the assignment, and have the information flow back into WorkN.

 

Automation | New UI  - 4/12/2024

🚀 What's New

  • We have a new UI & URL for the Automation page. Users will see the following changes:
    • New URL called /automationRules (replacing /onboarding247Automation)
    • New look to the Automation Rule dashboard page that displays the type of Automation
      • Clients using Onboarding will see the "Onboarding" Automation type
      • Clients using SImpleVMS will see the "SimpleVMS" Automation type
    • When creating & editing Automation Rules, users will now see an Automation Type dropdown
    • What Onboarding Automation clients previously referred to as "Triggers" is now called "Events"

Why?

  • The previous UI only accommodated Onboarding Automation. We want to make sure that this area can accommodate SimpleVMS Automations, as well as any other Automation types that we add in future updates.


How does this impact you?

  • Clients will see a cleaner UI and clients who use both SimpleVMS & Onboarding automations will be able to distinguish their automation rules by type.

 

BOLD | Update PO Number Field to Accept Max 50 Characters - 4/08/2024

🚀 What's New

  • We have improved the integrated customer experience in BOLD by limiting the number of characters used in a purchase order number to 50, so there is no truncation in the back office.

Why?

  • PO Numbers previously did not have a limit to them which caused some issues in the UI. 


How does this impact you?

  • Customers that have a PO number longer than 50 characters will see the full PO Number under the description field.  Going forward PO numbers will be limited to 50 characters.


 

 

24/7 | Onboarding Task Widget | Distinguish Questionnaires - 4/08/2024

🚀 What's New

  • When filtering for specific tasks in the Onboarding tasks widget, 24/7 Onboarding HCM Users will now see two dropdowns for Task Category and Task instead of just one. 

Why?

  • 24/7 Onboarding users are encouraged to heavily utilize Talent Questionnaires; however, the Onboarding Task widget has not allowed historically for users to filter for specific Questionnaires.
    This change will not only allow users to filter for specific Questionnaires and allow for future enhancements to this widget. 


How does this impact you?

  • 24/7 Onboarding clients will now be able to filter for specific Questionnaires rather than seeing ALL Questionnaires.

 

 

BOLD | Talent | Direct Deposit Validation - 4/08/2024

🚀 What's New

  • We improved the talent and recruiter experience by adding an option configuration into BOLD that requires talent users and recruiters adding direct deposit information to enter the account and routing number details twice for accuracy.

Why?

  • Customer feedback noted many times typos in account number information weren't caught until the time of payroll, delaying employees from getting paid in a timely manner.


How does this impact you?

  • If you're interested in requiring double-entry validation for direct deposit information, please contact your account manager to enable this feature for you.
