Automated Mapping Series

When adding new criteria in BOLD, it's important for these items to sync to the WorkN system so all activity remains accurate between systems. Automatic mapping makes it easy to self-serve, easily adding additional criterion like Positions, Skills, and more, without Support intervention or configuration work.

The following items have been updated with automated mapping to create more efficient processes when making system edits: 

  • Talent Status
  • Job Statuses
  • Positions & Skills
  • Job End Reasons
  • Contact Statuses
  • Company Statuses
Note: Users making edits to these criteria need access to the Table Editor.

Talent Status

From within BOLD, navigate to Account & Settings, and select the Table Editor. Search for the Talent Status option (which may be called 'Applicant' or otherwise in your system) where you can categorize people into overall statuses. This will open a pop-up module.

In "New Item", enter the name of the new status. Select the "Item Type" as it relates to the following mapping choices:  

  • General
    This is the most crucial status bucket, as it is the only designation that enables Talent to use the app. 
  • Pending
    Talent set to this status will not have access to or receive notifications from the app until set to a General status. 
  • Do Not Assign
    Talent set to this status will not have access to or receive notifications from the app until set to a General status. 

Select "Add", and close when complete.

Job Statuses

From within BOLD, navigate to Account & Settings, and select the Table Editor. Search for the Job Statuses option where you can categorize your open and closed jobs into overall statuses. This will open a pop-up module.

In "New Item", enter the name of the new status. Select the "Item Type" as it relates to whether the status is for an Closed or Open job.

Select "Add", and close when complete.

Positions & Skills

From within BOLD, navigate to Account & Settings, and select the Table Editor. Search for the Positions & Skills option add new Positions and/or Skills. This will open a pop-up module.

Fill out the following information as applicable:

  • Select (or create a new) Parent (Position)
  • Add (or edit existing) Child (Skill)

Select "Add Parent/Child", and close when complete.

Job End Reasons

From within BOLD, navigate to Account & Settings, and select the Table Editor. Search for the Job End Reasons option where you can define and edit reasons for ending jobs. This will open a pop-up module.

In "New Item", enter the name of the new end reason. Select the "Item Type" as it relates to whether the reason is Negative or Positive.

The logic of Type for a Job End Reason is used to determine how the shift is handled. If a Job End Reason is Negative, the job will be Cancelled. If a Job End Reason is Positive, the job will remain as Committed.

Select "Add", and close when complete.

Contact Statuses

From within BOLD, navigate to Account & Settings, and select the Table Editor. Search for the Contact Statuses option where you can categorize people into overall statuses. This will open a pop-up module.

In "New Item", enter the name of the new status. Select the "Item Type" as it relates to whether the status is for an Active or Inactive Contact.

Select "Add", and close when complete.

Company Statuses

From within BOLD, navigate to Account & Settings, and select the Table Editor. Search for the Company Statuses option where you can categorize different statuses for companies. This will open a pop-up module.

In "New Item", enter the name of the new status. Select the "Item Type" as it relates to the following choices:  

  • Cannot Create Job
  • Cannot Create Placement
  • Cannot Create Placement or Job
  • General

Select "Add", and close when complete.
