- All state W4’s are supported within the Avionté BOLD platform, including changes that were needed specifically for 2020 W4 forms. We can continue to build out and provide standard state W4's using Adobe Sign, whether you are on BOLD or AERO.
- State names and abbreviations should be interchangeable on state W4s
- We have made additional mappings from the heritage COMPAS Echo Sign integration as well as the AviontéAERO Adobe Sign integration available via the AviontéBOLD Adobe Sign integration. All mappings created continue to follow the previously established formatting of the Echo Sign integration as well as the AERO integration to ensure a seamless transition for clients who want to use the new AviontéBOLD Adobe Sign integration.

Note: This article is updated as mapping changes are made.
We allow clients to choose which of the two most common date formats they'd like to use in Adobe documents. Some clients expect dates to be formatted as MM/DD/YYYY (common in America), while other customers expect dates to be formatted as DD/MM/YYYY (common in Canada).
To support both cases, we've expanded the mapping to include both of these with the format specified in the mapping names themselves. To clarify the "Current" values specified below are not being removed, we're adding additional mapping naming conventions to be clearer about exactly how the date will be formatted when used in an Adobe document.
The new date conventions were made available on April 12, 2022.

We recommend using the Direct Deposit onboarding task to gather this information from applicants. This will ensure the validity of the information entered, and the ability to provide validation warnings, so that invalid data is not entered into the payment account details for applicants.

Why Shouldn't I Use An Adobe Document To Gather Direct Deposit Information?
When using your own Direct Deposit Adobe documentation, this validation cannot be performed. If a Direct Deposit template or mapping is configured incorrectly in Adobe, the data will not map correctly back to Avionté without a warning to the applicant or staffing agency. If invalid data is provided by an applicant (even on a correctly configured template), the invalid data can be rejected without enotice or warning to the applicant or staffing agency.
How Can I Tell If An Employee Provided The Details If I Don't Use An Adobe Document?
The BOLD platform provides detailed applicant auditing capabilities to show when a direct deposit was added, removed, or edited, and who made the change.

File Attachment Field Mapping
When using the File Attachment field type on an Adobe Sign Onboarding template, please ensure the name of the template is a part of the field name (see below screenshot). Additional details can be added to this field name in the event you have multiple file attachment fields on one template, as long as the name of the template can be found within the field name. Please note the name given to the field is how the attached file will be accessed from Avionte.
