Understanding the Data: (By Column)

 

 

Filters & Options

  • Activity Name
    • The type of activity logged. You can narrow down by contact activities and tasks.
  • Activity Sub Type
    • Narrow down by the activity category: e.g. Pipeline stages, declines, applicant activities, etc.
  • Activity Type
    • Narrow down by job or contact activities
  • Apply Date
    • Narrow down by the date the applicant applied
  • Candidate Rep
    • This filter pulls from the Credit To field on the Talent page of the Job. Use this filter to see data by a specific Recruiter.
  • Company Name
    • Use this filter to only see submittals to jobs under a certain company.
  • Hired Date
    • Allows you to refine your search from the candidate’s hired date.
    • Note: the hired date refers to the date a BOLD user processed the candidate’s start, not the first day of the job.
  • Job Title
    • Narrow down further and only see submittals to a specific job
  • Recruiter
    • The user receiving credit for the activity. This pulls from the "User" field when logging an activity or task.
  • Recruiter Division
    • Narrow down by the Division to which the user is assigned
  • Recruiter Region
    • Narrow down by the region, which is a subsection to the division, to which the user is assigned
  • Recruiter Office
    • Narrow down by the home office of the user
  • Req Created Date
    • This filter allows you to see submittals by when the req was created. For example, if you wanted to see all the submittals by Rep for jobs created in Q1, you could use this filter and then shut off the Time Frame Filter. It does not matter when the submittal occurred, but it has to have been for a job created in the specified time frame.
    • Note that the Time Frame Filter and Req Created Date Filter can be used together. For example, if I set the Time Frame to Q1 and the Req Created Date filter to last year, I am saying that I want to see all the submittals that occurred in Q1 for jobs that were created in the previous year.
  • Req Division
    • Allows you to refine your search by your company’s divisions. E.g. “Corporate”, “Technology”, etc. Note: not every account has “Divisions” configured
  • Req Office
    • Allows you to refine your search by your company’s offices. E.g. “San Francisco”, “New York”, etc. Note: not every account has “Offices” configured
  • Req Region
    • Allows you to refine your search by your company’s regions; e.g. “North America”, “Europe”, etc. Note: not every account has “Regions” configured
  • Req Type
    • Allows you to toggle certain job types on/off; e.g. “Contract”, “Contract to Perm”, “Permanent”, “EOR”
  • Sales Rep
    • This filter pulls from the Sales Rep on the Job Details page. Use this filter to see data by a specific Sales Rep
  • Time Frame
    • Using this filter allows the user to see the data that occurred in a certain time frame. For example, if I set the filter to 'This Year', it will display the number of submittals this year and so on. If I change it to 'Last Year', it will only show submittals that occurred in the previous year

  • Understanding the Data: (By Column)

     

    • # of Submittals
      • This is the total number of Candidates that were submitted under the specific filters.
      • The number under Candidate Rep is based on how many candidates were submitted where that specific Recruiter received the Recruiter Credit To (on the Talent Page). If you have two candidates that were submitted, and you were put as the Credit To for both, it would give you 2 Submittals. This is true even if another User clicks to submit the candidate.
      • The number under Sales Rep means the total number of Submittals under a job where the User was listed as the Sales Rep on the Job Details Page. It doesn't matter who submits the candidate. But if the person was submitted under the Sales Rep's job, the number will increase by one.

     

    • # of Total Interviews
      • This shows the total number of interviews for candidates submitted. If I submit John Smith, and he has had three interviews, my number will be three

     

    • # of Unique Interviews
      • This shows the total number of candidates that were interviewed, regardless of the number. For example, if John Smith had three interviews, it will only count him as one. This is regardless of if they were all different interview stages.
      • Once a Candidate is started in the system, the Candidate and Sales Rep will get credit in the report. A candidate must be started on a job before it feeds into the report. Clicking the green Check Mark on the Talent Page must be selected.

     

    • Applicant Activity
      • This section of data display the Applicant Activities and Tasks logged on an applicant profile. The individual Activities are listed below the Applicant Activity header. The individual activities can be filtered down by using the Activity Name filter

     

    • Applicant Name
      • Name of the applicant who nominated, pipelined, or applied from the web.

     

    • Apply Date
      • The date of the web apply

     

    • Candidate
      • Name of the applicant/contractor/placement

     

    • Candidate Rep
      • Applies to the Recruiter; the Candidate Rep is the primary applicant contact. When a user adds new applicants into BOLD, the system credits them as the Candidate Rep.  You can find/change this in an applicant’s “Operational Information” widget.

     

    • Client Rep
      • Applies to the Account Manager. The Client Rep (referred to as “Company Representative”) is the primary company contact. When a user adds new companies into BOLD, the system will credit them as the Client Rep. You can find/change this in a company’s “Operational Information” widget.

    •  Activity Date
      • The date the activity takes place. Keep in mind that if an activity is logged today but the action takes place next week, it will count it as next week.
  •  
    • Credit To
      • Generally applies to the Recruiter; the Credit To is the BOLD user who receives credit for the start.
      • This applies to the user who manually logs the activity/stage record.  This is different than the name of the user associated with the applicant’s/talent’s ownership.

     

    • Company
      • Name of the Company the job was created under.

     

    • Conversions
      • The number of web applicants started on a job.

     

    • Contact Activity
      • This section of data display the Contact Activities and Tasks logged on a contact profile. The individual Activities are listed below the Contact Activity header. The individual activities can be filtered down by using the Activity Name filter.
      • This data is credited to the user attributed to the activity when logging the activity on a profile

     

    • Contract Ends
      • This section shows the number of contracts ended under the specified Salesperson. There are a few sub-categories. These numbers pull from the Sales Rep on the Job Details page of the individual position.

     

    • Contract Ends - Extension
      • Shows the number of contracted that ended due to an extension

     

    • Contract Ends - Termination
      • Shows the number of Contract Ends due to a termination reason

     

    • Company
      • Name of the company for the job/candidate

     

    • Date Opened
      • Date the job was created. Note this is not the date the job was posted externally.

     

    • Days to Stage – Started
      • The amount of days between a job’s Opened date and the Hired Date. This data will always display in days; anything longer than one month will read as “32 days”

     

    • Declined
      • This section displays the decline reason. It also shows numbers based on those declines for nominated candidates. This is based on the Recruiter “Credit To” on the Talent Page.

     

    • Hired
      • The number of starts attributed to a recruiter. This is based on the Recruiter Credit To when starting a candidate.

     

    • Hired Date
      • the Hired Date refers to the date a BOLD user processed the candidate’s start, not the first day of the job.

     

    • Hiring Manager
      • Name of the Contact the job was created under

     

    • Hired Extensions
      • This section shows the number of contracts ended under the specified Salesperson. There are a few sub-categories. These numbers pull from the Sales Rep on the Job Details page of the individual position.

     

    • Interview
      • This section displays the number of interviews and the individual interview stages attributed to the recruiter. This is based on the Recruiter “Credit To” under the nomination bucket on the talent page.

    • Long Source
      • This column shows the complete URL of the web applicant's apply source

     

    • Manager
      • Name of the contact who serves as the job’s hiring manager. This is a job’s main Point-of-Contact

     

    • Month
      • This displays the month of the specific activities. This column is dependent upon the Activity Date filter

     

    • New Order
      • The number of new jobs created in which the user is the Sales Rep on the Job Details page of the position.

     

    • New Starts
      • This section shows you the number of starts on the jobs where the user in the Sales rep. It can display an original start or a Contract to Perm conversion

     

    • Nomination
      • This houses the number of submittals attributed to the Recruiter. This is based on the Recruiter Credit To when submitting the candidate to a hiring manager

     

    • Offer
      • Offers attributed to the recruiter. This is based on the Recruiter Credit To under the nomination bucket on the talent page

     

    • Opened
      • Date the job was created in BOLD. Note: this is NOT the date the job was posted.

     

    • Position
      • Name of the job used on the “Job Details” page. Note: this may be different than the job title used when posting externally.

     

    • Pipeline
      • This section houses all pipeline stages. This is based on the Recruiter Credit To on the Talent Page

     

    • Pipeline Decline
      • This section displays the decline reason and numbers based on those declines. This is based on the Recruiter “Credit To” on the Talent Page

     

    • Recruiter
      • This column lists out each individual recruiter you would like to review in the report. If you would like to adjust the list, to narrow down the recruiters or expand, you can do so using the Recruiter filter.
      • Note that these Recruiters are receiving credit when an applicant activity is logged under their name.

     

    • Req ID
      • This is the BOLD-created job ID. Clicking the Req ID takes you into the Job Details page for this position

     

    • Req Type
      • Displays the job type; e.g. is it a Contract, Permanent, Contract to Perm, EOR

     

    • Short Source
      • This column shows the short URL of their we apply source. If they found the job on Indeed, it would list Indeed source

     

    • Submitted to Interview
      • This ratio shows the number of submittals it takes to get to one interview. The closer to one, the better the ratio. Anything above one means it took more submittals to get one interview
      • If your recruiter submits three candidates and two get interviews, your ratio is 3/2=1.5
      • If your recruiter submits five candidates and two get interviews, the ratio is 5/2= 2.5
      • Interview to Placement
      • This ratio shows the number of interviews it takes to get to one placement. The closer to one, the better the ratio. Anything above one means it took more interviews to get to one placement

     

    • Submitted to Placement
      • This ratio shows the number of submittals it takes to get one placement. The closer to one, the better the ratio. Anything above one means it took more submittals to get to one placement

     

    • Total Converted
      • The number of web applicants started on a job

     

    • Total Applies
      • The total number of web applies to jobs

     

    • Unique Sources
      • The number of individual sources. For example, a web apply from Indeed would be one source. One from CareerBuilder would be another source.

     

    • Web Applicant
      • The date an applicant applied from a job board, your career’s page. Note: if this field is blank, it’s due to an applicant either being nominated or pipelined by a BOLD user. (See “Pipeline” and “Nomination”.)

     

    • Web Applicant Decline
      • The date a Web Applicant was declined by a BOLD user. Note: if an applicant was declined from another stage (i.e. pipeline), the decline date will live in that stage’s column

     

    • Week Ending
      • The week-end date in which the activities occurred. This date will always be the Sunday of the week
