Office Segmentation for Careers Pages - 01/31/2025

🚀 What's New

What is the improvement?

We are pleased to announce an update to our Careers Page Editor, enhancing Office Segmentation capabilities to provide more tailored job posting experiences.

Why?

  • These updates streamline job posting management, enhancing control and visibility tailored to user permissions. For more details, please refer to our updated documentation or contact support for assistance.

How does this impact you?

  • Office Access Control: Users can now select specific Offices within the Careers Page Editor to determine where job postings are visible. All Careers Pages created before 01/31/2025 had Office Access set to all Home Offices by default and can now be edited to specify Office access.

  • Default Setting: Initially, all new Careers Pages start with Office Access set to "None". To save a Careers Page, at least one Office must be selected.

  • Improved User Visibility: Users with permissions for selected Offices can post jobs to the designated Careers Pages. Those without permissions will not see these pages, ensuring relevant job postings are displayed based on user access.

  • Transition to New Board: The "Main Job Board" has been renamed to "New Board" in the Careers Pages dropdown. Users can now customize Office Access for each board independently.

  • Access Management: Users with permissions across multiple Offices will see all relevant Careers Pages. Conversely, those lacking access to specific Offices will not see corresponding job boards when posting.

  • Error Handling: Users without access to a Careers Page cannot delete postings made by authorized users. An error message will inform them of the restriction.
  • Your Posted Jobs Widget: When toggling between "Yours" and "All" jobs, users will be limited to only see jobs posted in Offices they have access to.

HCM User Segmentation - 01/31/2025

🚀 What's New

What is the improvement?

When enabled, we've added a system setting that limits what HCM Users you see in dropdowns and tag only to those whose Home Office aligns with your Office Access.

Why?

  • For clients managing multiple locations or operating under a franchise model, user management is streamlined with a setting that limits each user's visibility to relevant information across the system.

How does this impact you?

  • If you regularly use user filters or tagging and see users that are not relevant to your locations, please request that this feature be enabled for your environment. Once enabled, any operational area across BOLD for an HCM User will limit HCM Users in dropdowns and tag only those whose Home Office aligns with your Office Access.
