What is the improvement?
We’ve updated BOLD to improve how pay, bill, and markup fields interact, making it easier to manage these settings and control automatic updates. These changes help reduce unexpected pay and bill rate discrepancies, especially for overtime (OT) and double-time (DT) calculations. Some existing jobs, templates, or placements may require adjustments to align with the new configuration.
Why?
- Customer feedback highlighted confusion around override controls for markups and OT/DT bill rates, leading to incorrect pay and bill calculations. Users expected automatic updates when placing or adjusting talent, but these weren’t always applied as intended.
How does this impact you?
- Existing templates, jobs, and placements will not change automatically but will update when edited.
- New Active Consultants Report fields allow users to track OT/DT pay, bill, and markup settings.
- The changes cannot be reversed, so customers should review their templates, jobs, and placements to ensure the correct settings are applied.
What You Need to Do
1️⃣ Review existing templates, jobs, and placements, especially those with overtime configurations.
2️⃣ Ensure override checkboxes are set correctly—only check the box if you do not want the field to update automatically.
3️⃣ Test new job and placement entries to confirm rates are being calculated as expected.
These updates enhance accuracy, flexibility, and control in BOLD, making it easier to manage pay, bill, and markup settings while reducing errors in Classic Back Office.

'Your Posted Jobs' Widget Enhancement - 02/14/2025

Updated the description for the widget at myDashboard > Add Widget > Jobs > Your Posted Jobs to "A list for job posters to view their currently posted jobs."
Why?
- The description has been updated to better reflect the widget's functionality. The widget is designed to help job posters quickly access and manage their job postings, allowing them to make edits or remove posts as needed.

- The 'Yours' toggle displays jobs posted by the HCM User, filtered by their current Office Access list
- The 'All' toggle shows all posted jobs, also filtered by the user's Office Access list
The improved description helps users understand that this widget serves as a management tool, giving them convenient access to monitor and maintain their job postings from their dashboard.

New Behavior
- HCM Users with 'Paycheck View' enabled:
- Can view and interact with the Paychecks tab on the Talent record
- HCM User with 'Paycheck View' disabled
- Cannot view the Paychecks tab on the Talent record
- Cannot view the Paychecks tab on the Talent record
How does this impact you?
- Existing users: If existing user prior to feature enablement had Tax Admin enabled, then automatically have Paycheck View enabled for that user
- New users: After feature is enabled and new user created, give it same behavior as existing parent/child user claims for Tax Admin
- Enhanced security for sensitive pay data.
- Granular control for administrators to manage recruiter access to specific Talent profile information.

We've improved the recruiter experience by adding an audit log entry when a restriction is placed (or removed) on a talent to prevent them from working for a given company or specific company office.
