Echo V2

Echo gives Recruiting and Sales Teams the ability to parse and import candidates, companies, and contacts directly into Avionté, straight from popular professional networks.

These networks are filled with viable talent and with the plugin, you can quickly create and import a prospect and company into Avionté right from their social profile.

The Echo extension can be involved by going to the Chrome Web Store here.

Note: If you still have an older version of Echo, you will need to uninstall it before installing the new version.

Once the Echo extension is added and configured, you can add profiles from the following sourcing sites:

Indeed

LinkedIn

ZipRecruiter

ZoomInfo

When you open Echo for the first time, you will be asked to enter your “Company ID”:

This Company ID is the start of the domain your organization uses to access BOLD. For example, if you use abcstaffing.myavionte.com, then "abcstaffing" is your company ID. Note that this is case-sensitive.

After entering your Company ID, the familiar BOLD login screen will open in another tab:

Enter your login details for BOLD here. Once you have logged in successfully, you’ll see the following message:

You may now proceed to the job site of your choice and begin using Echo.

Importing

When you visit a profile on an applicable site, Echo will automatically recognize it, open the aside, and you’ll immediately see options to "Import Candidate" and "Import Contact":

Importing Candidates/Talent/Applicants:

Clicking the "Import Candidate" button will open a form view with details parsed from the profile. You’ll see an output like this:

If Echo missed something, users can edit the details in the form before choosing to import.

The full set of details that Echo can parse for Talent are:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Headline
  • Email
  • Address
  • City
  • State
  • Zip code
  • Country
  • Work Phone
  • Mobile Phone
  • Home Phone
  • LinkedIn profile link (only if using Echo on LinkedIn)
  • Personal site link
  • Work History
  • Education
  • Talent Tags

Once you click import, one of two things can happen:

1) If the Talent does not already exist in your BOLD database, pressing "Import" will create a new Talent profile with details parsed by Echo.

2) If there is a possible duplicate Talent, Echo will warn you, and you may choose to create a new one:

Once you’ve imported your Talent, you’ll see the following popup:

Pressing "Done" will allow you to continue to another Talent. Pressing "View Candidate" will take you to the Talent’s profile in BOLD.

Importing Contacts:

Pressing "Import Contact" will open the following screen:

Type in the Company that you’d like to associate this Contact with and choose it from the dropdown. You will be able to choose the Branch for the this Company in the next step:

Once you choose a Company, you will be taken to a form pre-filled the Contact’s parsed details:

Here you can review and change any information. Double-check that the correct Branch has been selected.

The full set of details that Echo can parse for Contacts are:

  • Company
  • Branch
  • First Name
  • Last Name

As with Talent, you will see the following message if a possible duplicate is found:

Note: This new version of Echo does not provide all the functionality that users have come to expect from Echo. We are actively working on further updates to bring this functionality back to users while remaining compliant with Google’s new plugin requirements.
