What is the improvement?

Companies can now set a Default Job Template, Default Job Requirement Group, and Default Workers' Compensation (WC) Code in BOLD. When creating new jobs, these defaults will be automatically applied, streamlining the job creation process while still allowing users to select different options when needed.

Why?

This improvement addresses several workflow challenges:

1. • Efficiency: Reduces repetitive template, requirement group, and WC Code selection for commonly used job types
   • Consistency: Ensures standard configurations, requirements, and accurate WC Codes are applied to new jobs
   • Time Savings: Minimizes clicks and decisions during job creation
   • Flexibility: Maintains user choice while providing smart defaults

How does this impact you?

Default Job Template:

• A new "Default" column has been added to the job templates listing
• Companies can optionally mark one template as the default
• When creating a new job, the default template will be automatically applied
• Users can still select a different template from the dropdown if needed

Default Job Requirement Group:

• A new "Default" column has been added to the job requirement group listing
• Companies can optionally mark one job requirement group as the default
• When creating a new job, the default job requirement group will be automatically applied
• Users can still select a different template from the dropdown if needed

Default Workers' Compensation (WC) Code:

• A new "Default Worker's Comp Code (Optional)" dropdown has been added to Custom Job Order Templates
• Companies can optionally select one WC code as the default
• When creating a new job, the default WC code will be automatically applied
• Users can still select a different template from the dropdown if needed

This enhancement streamlines the job creation process in both BOLD and through the SimpleVMS integration, improving efficiency in workflows without limiting user options.

Nominate | Pay/Bill Changes Auto Markup - 05/05/2025

This enhancement allows recruiters to automatically update bill rates based on defined markups when adjusting pay rates for candidate nominations on a job.

Why did we do this?

• It streamlines the process of applying correct markups, reducing manual effort and potential errors when negotiating pay and bill rates.
• The feature prevents inconsistencies when working with multiple jobs that have different markup configurations, ensuring accuracy in the nomination process.

How does this impact you?

• Users will notice that after changing the pay rate for a candidate nomination, the bill rate will update automatically according to the markup percentage set for the job.
• When nominating talent to multiple jobs simultaneously with inconsistent markup settings, the system will display a warning and disable the pay/bill rate fields to prevent errors.

This improvement allows BOLD HCM users who utilize the mobile browser to quickly access options for creating new records such as applicants, companies, contacts, and jobs.

Why did we do this?

• The primary benefit is that users can now directly see and access these "new" actions immediately after tapping the Quick Search field, without needing to type out keywords first.
