Customers now have the ability to request the enablement of a feature that will remove the requirement for talent to have a valid email address to log into the talent portal, complete onboarding tasks, or be started on a job.
We have also improved the usability of the talent portal by allowing talent to log in and complete onboarding tasks without requiring a valid email address.
Note: The enablement of this feature must be requested by those who wish to implement it; it is not implemented for all clients by default.

Why did we do that? |
Many talent users today may not have an email address, or know what their email address is. By generating a non-functional email address and a customizable login name along with a random or default password, you can onboard and place these talent users that only have a mobile phone number. |
Why does this matter to you, as a client/customer/user? |
If this feature is enabled on your account, there will be new aspects to your workflow as it relates to the talent's access to the talent portal as well as their onboarding and placement on jobs.
