What? |
We've improved your ability to collect education and work history from applicants/talent using your job board. The talent cannot apply for a job without providing education and work history if either or both are set to visible/required in the job workflow.
An applicant can still submit an application without education and/or work history if they check the appropriate box saying "No Education" and/or "No Work History." |
Why did we do that? |
Your feedback noted that talent was able to bypass the education and work history fields. You are now able to ensure that data is entered when the fields are required. |
Why does this matter to you, as a client/customer/user? |
Thanks to this enhancement, you will receive applications for jobs with education or work history if you deem that information is required. This meaningful information on a job application will be included whenever provided, or the applicant will have indicated that there is none. |
Now What? |
Remember to set work history and education to required/visible under the workflow for jobs where you want this to be required. The enhancement is not automatic.
This is done in the Careers Page Editor. Select the desired workflow, and then ensure that the Education & Work option is set to Required. |
