What? |
We improved job creation so that the system requires users to select a "Job Order Template" in order to create a job. If the company does not have a "Custom Job Order Template" created in the Requirements tab, the Job Creation will bypass this requirement. |
Why did we do that? |
Customers noticed that If "Custom Job Order Requirements" is set as a requirement in the New Job Order Requirements (Table Editor), the system was not allowing a job to be created at companies that do not have Custom Job Order Requirements created for it. They requested that the system be changed to allow a job to be created, bypassing the New Job Order Requirement, if there is no Custom Job Order Requirement on the company. However, if there is at least one custom requirement, then the Create Job Order Requirement will be enforced. |
Why does this matter to you, as a client/customer/user? |
For example, a client wants to enforce a Custom Job Order Template used for new job orders, but only if a Custom Job Order Template exists on a Company Profile.
If an Admin is in the Table Editor
Then, when an HCM User goes to create a new job, it will require them to select a "Job Order Template" in order to create the job.
