Introduction

This Business Intelligence (BI) Data Dictionary offers a detailed overview of the elements available within the Insights Data Warehouse and the Avionté DataLink, covering data from both Front Office and Back Office applications.

The Insights Data Warehouse is structured using a star schema, a data modeling technique that organizes data into central Fact tables surrounded by Dimension tables. In this schema, a central Fact table, which contains quantitative data for analysis, is linked to multiple Dimension tables that store descriptive attributes related to the data.

This document details the Fact and Dimension tables of the Insights Data Warehouse. It provides descriptions of each column within these tables, their data types and default values where applicable. For Fact tables, additional diagrams are included to illustrate the relationships between tables, providing a visual representation of the data model. The document includes two appendices: Appendix A provides detailed descriptions of data types to assist in understanding and interpreting the data accurately; Appendix B contains screenshots from the application to visually reference where specific data elements appear in the source system.
