Add an Expense to a Timesheet

  1. Click on the myDashboard Tab
  2. Click on the Expense Reports Tab
  3. Click on the Create New Expense Report button

  4. Enter data into the form
    1. Select a Job / Project: Select your Job from the drop down menu
    2. Expense Report Title: Enter a name for the Expense
    3. Expense Report Notes: Add any additional notes

  5. Click on the Add Item button

  6. Enter in the details for the Expense
    1. Item: Enter a name for the Expense
    2. Item Type: Select an option from the drop down menu
    3. Item Date: Enter the date for the Expense
    4. Item Cost: Enter the amount of the Expense
    5. Attachment: Attach a file/image

  7. If you need to add additional items, click the Add Item button
  8. Once you are done, click on the Save or Save and Submit button.
    1. Save: Only saves the information but does not submit the Expense for approval
    2. Save and Submit: Saves and submits the Expense for approval

  9. If you clicked on the Save and Submit button; you'll see an additional prompt.
  10. Click on the Continue button

Example of Submitted Expense

Draft Expenses: The Expense hasn't been submitted

Pending Expenses: The Expense has been submitted but awaiting approval

Rejected Expenses: The Expense has been submitted but not approved

Approved Expenses: The Expense has been submitted and approved

Correcting an Expense

You can make changes to an Expense even if you have submitted it.

  1. Click on the View button

  2. Click on the Re-Enter Expenses button

  3. Click on the Re-Open button

  4. Make changes to the Expense as needed
  5. Click on the Save or Save and Submit button

  6. If you clicked on the Save and Submit button; you'll see an additional prompt.
  7. Click on the Continue button
