The User Logins Report gives you a single, consolidated view of login activity across every user type in your system — Contacts, HCM Users, and Talent — including their most recent login date and IP address. Use it to audit account activity, confirm adoption of self-service tools, and investigate login issues for a specific person.

  1. Click on the Analyze tab
The Reports sub-tab will automatically be selected
  2. In the Search Reports field, type LOGIN
  3. Click on the User Logins report

Understanding This Report

What This Report Shows You

The User Logins Report displays one row per person, combined across three user types — Contact, HCM User, and Talent. Each row shows the fields relevant to that person’s type, along with their most recent login date and IP address. Fields that don’t apply to a given user type display as N/A on that row.

Why Use This Report

This report helps you answer questions such as:

  • When did a specific contact, HCM user, or talent last log in?
  • Which users haven’t logged in within a given date range?
  • What IP address was associated with a user’s most recent login?
  • How many logins occurred across a division, region, or office in a specific window?

Who Benefits From This Report

IT/Security Teams: Audit login activity and investigate account access questions using the last login date and IP.

Client Services / Account Managers: Confirm contact and HCM user adoption of self-service tools.

Operations Leaders: Identify talent, contacts, or HCM users who haven’t logged in recently.

Using Filters

Filters appear on the right side of your screen and let you narrow results to the login activity most relevant to your analysis. All filters default to include all available data when you first open the report.

Available Filters

Filter Name What It Does When to Use It
Division Filters users by their associated employer/division Use when you want to review login activity for a specific division or employer entity
Region Filters users by their associated region Use to compare or isolate login activity across regions
Office Filters users by their associated office/branch Use to review login activity for a specific office location
User Type Selects a single user type to report on: Contact, HCM User, or Talent Use to focus the report on one login type at a time
Name Free-text “Containing” filter on the user’s name Use when you need results for a specific person
Login Date (UTC) Filters by the user’s last login date, in UTC, using quick-select ranges (e.g., This & Last Week) Use to review recent login activity within a specific time window

Applying Your Filter Selections

  1. Click on the edit icon next to any filter name to expand it
  2. Make your selections by checking boxes or choosing from dropdowns
  3. Click Apply to update the report with your filtered view
  4. Click Cancel to discard changes and return to the previous filter state

Reading the Data

Each row in the User Logins Report represents a single Contact, HCM User, or Talent record. Because the same table covers all three user types, a given row will show real values only in the fields that apply to that person’s type — the rest display as N/A.

Login Count by Person (Validation)

Below the main results table, the report also includes a second table, Login Count by Person (Validation). This table aggregates login activity by email address. It shows the total number of logins and the most recent login date recorded for each person, giving you a quick way to cross-check the detail rows above.

Field Name Description
Email The person’s email address
Login Count The total number of logins recorded for that email address within the selected filters
Last Login Date The most recent login date for that email address
Note: Use this table to validate the main report. The Login Count for a given email should reconcile with the number of rows for that person in the main results table above.

Practical Applications

Use the User Logins Report to run a quick login audit across all three user types at once — filter to a specific division, region, or office and a recent date range to see exactly who has (and hasn’t) logged in. When investigating an access issue for a specific person, use the Name filter to pull their record directly and check their Last Login Date and Last Login IP. Because the report spans Contacts, HCM Users, and Talent in a single view, it’s also useful for periodic adoption reviews across your full user base rather than checking each user type separately.

Exporting Your Data

Export your report data to share with stakeholders, perform additional analysis, or maintain records outside of Avionté.

  1. Apply any filters you want reflected in your export
  2. Click the three-dot menu icon (⋮) in the top right corner of the report area
  3. Select your preferred format from the Download submenu:
    • Image: Creates a visual snapshot of the report as currently displayed
    • CSV File: Exports raw data compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and database tools
    • PDF File: Generates a formatted document suitable for printing or formal distribution
Note: Your export will include only the data visible based on your current filter selections. To export all users, ensure all filters are set to include all before downloading.

Additional Export Options

The three-dot menu also provides options to repeat rows (useful for printing), merge rows, and other display customizations. These settings affect how your report appears on screen and in exports.

Refreshing the Report

Avionté automatically refreshes report data every 5 minutes. To see the most current data immediately after changing filters or after records have been updated, you can manually refresh.

Refresh icon above the report filter panel
  1. Locate the circular arrow icon above the filter panel on the right side of the screen.
Refresh icon expanded to display UPDATE
  1. Hover over the icon to see it expand and display the word “UPDATE.”
  2. Click the icon to re-run the report based on your current filter selections.

The report will reload with the latest data from your database, reflecting any new records or updates since you last viewed it.
