Contractor Invoicing allows the back office team to send their invoicing separately from paying contractors. Filter by Week Ending date and Bill Cycle to invoice your clients.
The Bill Cycle filters by the Bill Cycle selected for the job on the Job Details Page. The Bill Cycle filters allow your back office team to keep timesheets with different bill cycles separate.
Bill Cycle Filters
Using the weekly bill cycles allows you to invoice those clients on a weekly basis. Filter by this bill cycle and the week end date that needs to be invoiced and then select the invoice using the check boxes to the right. Once you have all of your timesheets ready, click the blue button on the bottom right to process your timesheets.
Much like the weekly cycle, use this filter to keep track of all timesheets that need to be processed every two weeks.
The monthly filter allows you to invoice every 4 weeks. Use this bill cycle to invoice once a month. Note that this allows your back office team to invoice by the week. If you need to invoice by the calendar month, use the bill cycle Monthly Calendar.
Sometimes the start or end of the month falls in the middle of the week. Using the Monthly Calendar bill cycle allows your back office team to split a weekly invoice when the month start or end date lands in the middle of the week.
Invoices run on this cycle will be divided into two separate invoices depending on the month start or end date. Observing the Bill Cycle End date in the report will allow you back office team to run the appropriate time sheet, while waiting to run the rest of the week in the next bill cycle.
Suppress Invoice (Auto-Generate)
Supressed invoices can still be process for reporting purposes. Using this filter, your back-office team can view and process all suppressed invoices.
VMS/Client Internal - Bi-Weekly/Calendar Monthly
If the client uses a Vendor Management System, this bill cycle will allow you to keep track of those invoices. Run invoices either Bi-Weekly or by the Calendar Month
