Enhanced Standard Reporting is now available as an optional feature for your system.

Customizing and Sharing This Report

Columns: Use the column selector to show, hide, or reorder columns to match your workflow.

Filters: Your filter selections are remembered between sessions — the report opens with your last-used settings automatically.

Sharing (INSIGHTS users): You can duplicate, rename, and share customized versions of this report with team members, and schedule automated delivery by email. System-level reports remain unchanged and available to all users.

Sharing (Standard users): You can duplicate this report and customize filters for personal use. To share a customized version with your team, duplicate the report, apply your preferred filters, and share it directly with individual users. System-level reports cannot be modified or set as a default for all users. See Enhanced Standard Reporting Overview for more detail.

The Talent Sources report gives you a clear, filterable view of how talent is entering your pipeline — tracking each person's office, status, source, and key dates in one place. Use it to evaluate the effectiveness of your recruitment channels and make data-driven decisions about where to focus your sourcing efforts.

Accessing the Report

  1. Click on the Analyze tab
    The Reports sub-tab will automatically be selected
  2. In the Search Reports field, type TALENT SOURCES
  3. Click on the Talent Sources report
Note: The report automatically loads with all filters set to include all available data. Results refresh every 5 minutes to reflect current talent records.

Understanding This Report

What This Report Shows You

The Talent Sources report displays each talent record as a separate row, capturing their office assignment, unique ID, full name, current status, creation date, and all associated acquisition sources. When a talent has been added through more than one channel, all sources appear together in a single column with clear line breaks—so you always have a complete picture without needing to dig into individual profiles.

Why Use This Report

This report empowers your team to answer critical sourcing and talent management questions:

  • Which recruitment sources are generating the most active talent in my pipeline?
  • How many talent records were created within a specific date range?
  • Which sources are bringing in talent across specific divisions, regions, or offices?
  • What is the current status distribution of talent sourced from a particular channel?
  • Which talent came from multiple sources, and what were they?
  • Are there offices or regions where certain sources consistently outperform others?
  • How has our talent pipeline grown or shifted over a selected time period?

Using Filters

Filters appear on the right side of your screen and let you narrow results to the talent segment most relevant to your analysis. All filters default to include all available data when you first open the report.

Available Filters

Filter Name What It Does When to Use It
Division Filters talent by their associated employer or division Use when you want to evaluate sourcing results within a specific division or employer entity
Region Filters talent by their assigned region Use to compare sourcing performance across geographic regions
Office Filters talent by their home branch office Use when analyzing sourcing activity for a specific office location
Talent Status Filters by current talent status (default and custom statuses available) Use to focus on active, inactive, or any custom-defined talent status group
Talent Sources Filters by one or more talent acquisition sources Use to measure the reach and effectiveness of a specific sourcing channel
Date From / Date To Filters talent records by their Applied Date within a custom date range Use when you need results for a specific start and end date you define manually
Date Range Filters talent records by predefined relative date periods (Yesterday, This Week, Last Week, Next Month, etc.) Use for quick recurring analyses without manually entering dates each time

Note: When using Date Range, the Date From and Date To fields automatically disable. Select either Date Range or manually enter Date From and Date To—not both. Both filter options apply to the talent's Applied Date.

Applying Your Filter Selections

  1. Click on the edit icon next to any filter name to expand it
  2. Make your selections by checking boxes or choosing from dropdowns
  3. Click Apply to update the report with your filtered view
  4. Click Cancel to discard changes and return to the previous filter state

Reading the Data

The Talent Sources report displays each talent record as a separate row with comprehensive details about their identity, office assignment, current status, and sourcing history. When a talent has been acquired through multiple channels, all sources are consolidated in the Talent Source column with line breaks for easy reading.

Field Descriptions

Field Name Description
Talent Office The branch office associated with the talent record
Talent ID The unique system-generated identifier for the talent record
Applicant The talent's full applicant name as recorded in the system
Last Name The talent's last name
First Name The talent's first name
Talent Status The talent's current status (e.g., Active, Inactive, or any configured custom status)
Talent Created Date The date the talent record was created in Avionté
Talent Source The acquisition channel(s) through which the talent was sourced; multiple sources display in a single cell with line breaks

Exporting Your Data

Export your report data to share with stakeholders, perform additional analysis, or maintain records outside of Avionté.

  1. Apply any filters you want reflected in your export
  2. Click the three-dot menu icon (⋮) in the top right corner of the report area
  3. Select your preferred format from the Download submenu:
    • Image: Creates a visual snapshot of the report as currently displayed
    • CSV File: Exports raw data compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and database tools
    • PDF File: Generates a formatted document suitable for printing or formal distribution

Note: Your export will include only the data visible based on your current filter selections. To export all talent records, ensure all filters are set to include all before downloading.

Additional Export Options

The three-dot menu also provides options to repeat rows (useful for printing), merge rows, and other display customizations. These settings affect how your report appears on screen and in exports.
