The Back Office Commissions report provides detailed commission amounts and percentages per individual job based on an entered time frame. It also displays total bill, pay, burdens, and costs of service, giving you a complete financial picture of commission activity tied to placements and timesheets.

Note: This report pulls invoicing-related data entered in Bold.
Accessing the Report
- Click on the Analyze tab.
The Reports sub tab will automatically be selected. - In the Search Reports field, type BACK OFFICE.
- Click on the Back Office Commissions report.

What This Report Shows You
The Back Office Commissions report displays each commission record as a separate row, tied to a specific job and timesheet week ending date. It captures the talent, company, job office, commission user, commission type, and a full breakdown of bill amounts, pay amounts, burden, cost of service, gross profit, and commission allocation. This gives you a complete financial view of how commission is distributed across your placements.
Why Use This Report
This report helps you manage commission accountability and answer critical operational questions:
- What is the total commission earned by a specific user or team during a given period?
- What are the bill, pay, burden, and gross profit amounts for a particular job or company?
- Which commission type is associated with each placement?
- How is commission being allocated across users on shared placements?
- What are the expenses billed and paid for a given timesheet period?
- Which jobs or companies are generating the most commission activity?

Recruiters: Review their own commission history by week ending date and confirm that all eligible placements have been captured with the correct allocation percentage.

Customizing and Sharing This Report
Columns: Show or hide columns using the column selector. Drag columns to reorder them. Click any column header to sort.
Filters: Use the filter panel on the right to narrow results. All filters default to “Include all.”
Sharing (INSIGHTS users): Save a customized view and share it as a dashboard tile with your team.
Sharing (Standard users): Export the report as a CSV, PDF, or image. See the Enhanced Standard Reporting Overview article for full details.
Using Filters
Filters appear on the right side of your screen and help you focus on specific segments of your data. All filters default to “Include all” when you first open the report.

Applying Your Filter Selections
- Click on the edit icon next to any filter name to expand it.
- Make your selections by checking boxes or choosing from dropdowns.
- Click Apply to update the report with your filtered view.
- Click Cancel to discard changes and return to the previous filter state.

The Back Office Commissions report displays each commission record as a separate row with full details about the placement, job, timesheet, and financial breakdown. The field list gives you everything you need to analyze bill amounts, pay amounts, gross profit, and commission allocation across any time period, office, or company.

Exporting Your Data
Export your report data to share with stakeholders, perform additional analysis, or maintain records outside of Avionté.
- Apply any filters you want to include in your export.
- Click the three-dot menu icon (…) in the top right corner of the report area.
- Select your preferred format from the Download submenu:
- Image: Creates a visual snapshot of the report as currently displayed.
- CSV File: Exports raw data compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and database tools.
- PDF File: Generates a formatted document suitable for printing or formal distribution.
Additional Export Options
The three-dot menu also provides options to repeat rows (useful for printing), merge rows, and other display customizations. These settings affect how your report appears on screen and in exports.
Refreshing the Report
Avionté automatically refreshes report data every 5 minutes. If you want to see the most current information immediately after changing filters or after new commission activity has been recorded, you can manually refresh.
- Locate the circular arrow icon above the filter panel on the right side.
- Hover over the icon to see it expand and display the word UPDATE.
- Click the icon to re-run the report based on your current filter selections.
The report will reload with the latest data from your database, reflecting any new commission records or updates since you last viewed it.
