The Daily Consultant Spend report provides financial details on consultants and jobs broken down by individual timesheet day, including bill rates, pay rates, hours, expenses, and cost of service information. Use this report to analyze daily spend activity, reconcile billing, and track consultant utilization at the day level.

Note: This report displays data only related to invoicing done in Bold or FO.
Accessing the Report
- Click on the Analyze tab.
The Reports sub tab will automatically be selected. - In the Search Reports field, type DAILY.

What This Report Shows You
The Daily Consultant Spend report displays each timesheet work day as a separate row, capturing the job, consultant, recruiter, sales rep, and a full breakdown of hours, bill rates, pay rates, expenses, burden, and cost of service for that day. This day-level granularity gives you a precise view of spend activity that weekly reports cannot provide, making it easier to spot billing anomalies and reconcile invoices.
Why Use This Report
This report helps you manage daily spend and answer critical operational questions:
- What were the bill and pay amounts for a specific consultant on a given day?
- How many straight, overtime, and doubletime hours were worked per day per placement?
- What expenses were billed and paid for a specific job or company within a date range?
- Which consultants or jobs had the highest daily spend during a period?
- Are bill rates and pay rates consistent with expected placement rates?
- What is the daily cost of service and burden breakdown across offices or regions?

Customizing and Sharing This Report
Columns: Show or hide columns using the column selector. Drag columns to reorder them. Click any column header to sort.
Filters: Use the filter panel on the right to narrow results. All filters default to “Include all.”
Sharing (INSIGHTS users): Save a customized view and share it as a dashboard tile with your team.
Sharing (Standard users): Export the report as a CSV, PDF, or image. See the Enhanced Standard Reporting Overview article for full details.
Using Filters
Filters appear on the right side of your screen and help you focus on specific segments of your data. All filters default to “Include all” when you first open the report.

Applying Your Filter Selections
- Click on the edit icon next to any filter name to expand it.
- Make your selections by checking boxes or choosing from dropdowns.
- Click Apply to update the report with your filtered view.
- Click Cancel to discard changes and return to the previous filter state.
Reading the Data
The Daily Consultant Spend report displays each timesheet work day as a separate row with full details about the job, consultant, hours, rates, expenses, and financial totals. The field list gives you everything you need to audit, reconcile, or analyze daily spend across any date range, office, or company.

Exporting Your Data
Export your report data to share with stakeholders, perform additional analysis, or maintain records outside of Avionté.
- Apply any filters you want to include in your export.
- Click the three-dot menu icon (…) in the top right corner of the report area.
- Select your preferred format from the Download submenu:
- Image: Creates a visual snapshot of the report as currently displayed.
- CSV File: Exports raw data compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and database tools.
- PDF File: Generates a formatted document suitable for printing or formal distribution.
Additional Export Options
The three-dot menu also provides options to repeat rows (useful for printing), merge rows, and other display customizations. These settings affect how your report appears on screen and in exports.
Refreshing the Report
Avionté automatically refreshes report data every 5 minutes. If you want to see the most current information immediately after changing filters or after new timesheet activity has been recorded, you can manually refresh.
- Locate the circular arrow icon above the filter panel on the right side.
- Hover over the icon to see it expand and display the word UPDATE.
- Click the icon to re-run the report based on your current filter selections.
The report will reload with the latest data from your database, reflecting any new timesheet entries or updates since you last viewed it.
