The Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Enhanced Report provides a comprehensive view of recruitment performance by tracking how long jobs take to progress through each stage of your hiring process. Use it to identify bottlenecks in your recruitment pipeline, analyze historical trends in hiring efficiency, and make data-driven decisions to optimize your staffing operations — all based on the time elapsed from job creation to each nomination stage.

Note: If you were a Business Intelligence user prior to 2022, contact your Account Manager for access.

Understanding This Report

What This Report Shows You

The Key Performance Indicators report displays each job as a separate row, with dynamic columns representing each unarchived Job Activity Nomination Stage in your system. Each stage column shows the number of days elapsed from when the job was created to when it reached that particular stage. This structure allows you to see at a glance how quickly — or slowly — jobs are moving through your recruitment pipeline, making it easy to spot stages where jobs tend to stall or progress efficiently.

Why Use This Report

This report helps your recruitment and operations teams measure performance and answer critical questions:

  • How long does it typically take for jobs to reach the interview stage?
  • Which stages in our recruitment process are causing delays?
  • Are certain companies or positions taking longer to fill than others?
  • How does our time-to-fill compare across different offices or regions?
  • Which recruiters are moving candidates through stages most efficiently?
  • Are there trends in our recruitment efficiency over time?
  • Where should we focus process improvements to reduce time-to-hire?

Who Benefits From This Report

Different roles use this report to address specific recruitment and operational needs:

HR Managers and Recruiters: Assess recruitment effectiveness by tracking how long jobs spend in each stage, identify specific areas for improvement, and refine strategies to accelerate the hiring process.

Hiring Managers: Gain insights into the recruitment process timeline for their open positions, collaborate more effectively with recruiters, and make informed decisions about candidate progression.

Executives and Department Heads: Access strategic visibility into recruitment performance metrics across the organization, align hiring practices with business goals, and ensure resources are allocated to address bottlenecks.

Using Filters

Filters appear on the right side of your screen and help you focus on specific segments of your data. All filters default to “Include all” when you first open the report.

Reading the Data

The Key Performance Indicators report displays each job as a separate row, with stage-specific columns showing the number of days from job creation to each nomination stage. The stage columns are dynamic — they automatically reflect each unarchived Job Activity Nomination Stage configured in your system, so the report adapts to your organization’s unique recruitment workflow.

Key Field Categories

Field Name Description
Company The client company name associated with the job.
Requisition ID The unique Job ID (as shown in the URL) or Job Requisition ID that identifies the position in the system.
Position Title The internal title assigned to the job position.
Dynamic Stage Columns Each unarchived Job Activity Nomination Stage in your system becomes its own column in the report. The value displayed represents the number of days elapsed from when the job was created to when it reached that specific stage. For example, if your system includes stages like “Submitted,” “Interview,” “Offer,” and “Placed,” each will appear as a separate column showing the days-to-stage metric for that job.
Note: The dynamic stage columns will vary based on your organization’s configured Job Activity Nomination Stages. Only unarchived stages appear in the report. If a job has not yet reached a particular stage, the corresponding cell will be empty or show no value.

Practical Applications

The Key Performance Indicators report empowers recruitment and operations teams to optimize their hiring process with measurable insights. Recruiters can identify which stages consistently take the longest, enabling targeted process improvements to reduce time-to-fill. HR managers can compare performance across offices, regions, or individual recruiters to identify best practices and areas needing support. Hiring managers gain transparency into where their open positions stand in the recruitment pipeline and can proactively address delays. Executives can track historical trends in recruitment efficiency, ensuring that hiring practices align with organizational goals and that resources are allocated effectively. By analyzing days-to-stage metrics across different companies, positions, or time periods, teams can make data-driven decisions that improve candidate experience and business outcomes.
