When you update certain status settings in AviontéBOLD, they automatically update with the 24/7 mobile platform. This ensures consistent data between systems and directly affects how talent interacts with the mobile app. This guide explains which settings impact 24/7 and how.
Talent Status Settings
Talent statuses in BOLD directly control app access and SmartLink distribution:
General Status
- Talent can receive SmartLinks
- Full access to log in and use the 24/7 app
- Can receive job notifications
- This is the standard Active status for your talent pool
Pending Status
- SmartLink distribution depends on your agency's implementation configuration
- Some agencies choose to send SmartLinks to pending talent, others do not
- Contact your Customer Success Manager to verify your configuration
Do Not Assign Status
- Talent will NOT receive SmartLinks
- Cannot log in to the 24/7 app
- If already logged in when status changes, they can continue using the app until they log out
- No job notifications will be sent
Job Status Settings
Job statuses determine visibility in the 24/7 app:
Open Status
- Jobs are visible and available in the app
- Talent can view if distributed to app
- Notifications are sent based on matching criteria
Closed Status
- Jobs become immediately invisible in the app
- No new notifications are sent
- Talent cannot view or interact with closed jobs
Job End Reason Settings
Job end reasons determine how shifts are handled when ended early:
Positive End Reasons
- Shift remains as "Committed" in the system
- Talent maintains credit for the work
- Examples: Completed early, client released early
Negative End Reasons
- Shift is marked as "Cancelled"
- Removes the commitment from talent's schedule
- Examples: No-show, performance issues, job cancelled by client
Best Practices
- Consistent Status Management - Ensure your team understands how status changes impact talent's app experience
- Clear End Reasons - Create descriptive job end reasons so staff choose the correct type (positive/negative)
- Regular Reviews - Periodically review talent in "Do Not Assign" status to ensure appropriate app access
- Communication - When changing talent from active to restricted statuses, consider informing them about the impact on their app access
