Customizing and Sharing This Report

Columns: Use the column selector to show, hide, or reorder columns to match your workflow.

Filters: Your filter selections are remembered between sessions — the report opens with your last-used settings automatically.

Sharing (INSIGHTS users): You can duplicate, rename, and share customized versions of this report with team members, and schedule automated delivery by email. System-level reports remain unchanged and available to all users.

Sharing (Standard users): You can duplicate this report and customize filters for personal use. To share a customized version with your team, duplicate the report, apply your preferred filters, and share it directly with individual users. System-level reports cannot be modified or set as a default for all users. See Enhanced Standard Reporting Overview for more detail.

The Job Board Forecast Report empowers your team to estimate potential revenue and gross profit across all open job orders. By factoring in estimated payable and billable hours for each contract's duration, this report gives you a forward-looking view of pipeline value — helping you prioritize efforts, allocate resources, and plan strategically.

Accessing the Report

  1. Click on the Analyze Tab
    The Reports Sub Tab will automatically be selected
  2. In the Search Reports field, type JOB BOARD FORECAST
  3. Click on the Job Board Forecast Report
Note: The report automatically loads with your default filter state. Data refreshes every 5 minutes to reflect current job order activity.

Understanding This Report

What This Report Shows You

The Job Board Forecast Report displays each open job order as a separate row with comprehensive details about projected revenue and gross profit. It factors in the job's target bill rate, pay rate, estimated weekly hours, and contract duration to calculate weekly and total financial projections. Each record also surfaces candidate pipeline details, key contacts, and job ownership — giving you a complete picture of both financial opportunity and fulfillment status in a single view.

Why Use This Report

This report helps you manage pipeline strategy and answer critical business questions:

  • What is the total projected revenue and gross profit across all open job orders?
  • Which open positions represent the highest financial opportunity?
  • How many weeks of contract duration remain for each active job?
  • Which jobs have candidates actively moving through the pipeline?
  • Which divisions, offices, or regions are driving the most forecasted revenue?
  • Which job owners or sales reps have the strongest pipeline value?
  • Are there open jobs without end dates that could affect forecast accuracy?

Using Filters

Filters appear on the right side of your screen and help you focus on specific segments of your job order data. All filters default to "Include all" when you first open the report.

Available Filters

Employer Filters by the job's employer/division Use when reviewing pipeline value for a specific employer or division group
Region Filters by the job's assigned region Use to compare forecasted revenue across geographic regions
Office Filters by the job's branch/office Use to narrow results to a specific branch's open job pipeline
Company Status Filters by the status of the client company associated with the job Use to focus on jobs tied to active, inactive, or prospect companies
Company Filters by the hiring manager's company associated with the job Use when reviewing pipeline value for a specific client company
Industry Filters by the industry of the client company Use to analyze forecasted revenue within a particular industry vertical
Sales Rep Filters by the sales rep assigned to the job Use to review the pipeline and forecasted revenue attributed to a specific sales rep
Position Type Filters by the system-defined position type (e.g., contract, direct hire) Use to isolate a specific category of job order for targeted analysis
Job Title Filters by the job's title Use to find forecast data for a specific role or position name
Recruiter Filters by the recruiter associated with placements on the job Use to see which open jobs a specific recruiter is supporting
Job Type Filters by the job's type Use to focus on a specific job type within the pipeline
Job Status Filters by the job's current status Use to view only active, on-hold, or other specific job status groups
Job Id Filters by a specific job's unique ID Use to pull forecast data for one specific job order
Job Created Date Filters by the date the job was entered into the system Use to review jobs opened within a specific time period
Job Start Date Filters by the job's scheduled start date Use to focus on jobs starting within a particular date range
Job End Date Filters by the job's scheduled end date Use to identify jobs expiring within a specific window to prioritize extensions or renewals
Note: Job Created Date, Job Start Date, and Job End Date each filter independently. You can apply one or more of these date filters simultaneously to further narrow your results to a specific time window.

Applying Your Filter Selections

  1. Click on the edit icon next to any filter name to expand it
  2. Make your selections by checking boxes or choosing from dropdowns
  3. Click Apply to update the report with your filtered view
  4. Click Cancel to discard changes and return to the previous filter state

Reading the Data

The Job Board Forecast Report displays each open job order as a separate row with comprehensive details about job identity, financial projections, contract timing, and team ownership. The field list allows you to quickly assess both the fulfillment status and estimated financial impact of every open position in your pipeline.

Key Field Categories

Field Name Description
Company The hiring manager's company name associated with the job
Requisition The unique Job ID for the open position
Position The job title; displays job type if a title is not available
Total Openings The number of open positions on the job order
Tier The current job status
Position Type The system-defined job type (e.g., contract, direct hire)
Candidates in Process The job's nominated candidates along with their current pipeline stages
Bill Rate The job's target bill rate
Pay Rate The job's target pay rate
Est. Weekly Hours The estimated number of billable/payable hours per week for the position
Est. Weeks The number of weeks calculated from the difference between the job's start date and end date
Weekly Rev. The estimated weekly revenue based on bill rate and estimated weekly hours
Weekly GP The estimated weekly gross profit based on the spread between bill rate and pay rate
Total Rev The estimated total revenue for the full contract duration
Total GP The estimated total gross profit for the full contract duration
Start Date The job's scheduled start date
End Date The job's scheduled end date
Client Rep The sales rep assigned to the job
Contractor Rep The recruiter rep(s) associated with placements on the job, listed as comma-separated values
Permanent Fees Any permanent placement fees associated with the job order
Job Owner The user(s) who own the job order
Job Open Date The date the job was entered into the system
Note: If a job order does not have an end date, the revenue and GP forecast fields will not be accurate. Ensure contracts have end dates entered for reliable financial projections.

Chart View

The Job Board Forecast Report includes a bar chart that visualizes forecasted revenue and gross profit across your open job orders. Hover over any column in the chart to display its total value.

Exporting Your Data

Export your report data to share with stakeholders, perform additional analysis, or maintain records outside of Avionté.

  1. Apply any filters you want to include in your export
  2. Click the three-dot menu icon (⋮) in the top right corner of the report area
  3. Select your preferred format from the Download submenu:
    • Image: Creates a visual snapshot of the report as currently displayed
    • CSV File: Exports raw data compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and database tools
    • PDF File: Generates a formatted document suitable for printing or formal distribution

Note: Your export will include only the data visible based on your current filter selections. To export all open job orders, ensure all filters are set to "Include all" before downloading.

Additional Export Options

The three-dot menu also provides options to repeat rows (useful for printing), merge rows, and other display customizations. These settings affect how your report appears on screen and in exports.

 

Refreshing the Report

Avionté automatically refreshes report data every 5 minutes. If you want to see the most current activity immediately after changing filters or after new pipeline or nomination actions have been recorded, you can manually refresh.

  1. Locate the circular arrow icon above the filter panel on the right side of the screen.

  1. Hover over the icon to see it expand and display the word "UPDATE."
  2. Click the icon to re-run the report based on your current filter selections.

The report will reload with the latest data from your database, reflecting any new activities, job updates, or stage changes since you last viewed it.
