Customizing and Sharing This Report
Columns: Use the column selector to show, hide, or reorder columns to match your workflow.
Filters: Your filter selections are remembered between sessions — the report opens with your last-used settings automatically.
Sharing (INSIGHTS users): You can duplicate, rename, and share customized versions of this report with team members, and schedule automated delivery by email. System-level reports remain unchanged and available to all users.
Sharing (Standard users): You can duplicate this report and customize filters for personal use. To share a customized version with your team, duplicate the report, apply your preferred filters, and share it directly with individual users. System-level reports cannot be modified or set as a default for all users. See Enhanced Standard Reporting Overview for more detail.
The Local Tax Withholding report provides comprehensive visibility into local jurisdiction tax withholding by talent, enabling you to monitor compliance, verify withholding accuracy, and streamline reconciliation across cities and municipalities. This enhanced report delivers faster processing and extended historical data to support multi-quarter analysis and auditing.
Accessing the Report
Navigate to the Local Tax Withholding report from the Analyze tab in Avionté BOLD.
- Click Analyze in the top navigation bar.
- Click Reports in the left menu to open the report library.
- In the search bar at the top of the report list, type LOCAL TAX.
- Click Local Tax Withholding from the filtered results to open the report.

What This Report Shows You
This report displays local jurisdiction tax withholding data organized by talent, showing gross amounts, taxable gross, subject gross, and tax amounts for each city or municipality where withholding applies. Each row represents a single talent's withholding for a specific local jurisdiction within a selected time period, enabling you to verify withholding calculations, track tax liability by location, and reconcile local tax remittances.

Local tax compliance requires accurate tracking of withholding by jurisdiction, often across multiple cities and municipalities with varying tax rates and rules. This report centralizes withholding data by talent and locality, eliminating the need to compile information from multiple payroll cycles or disparate sources. You can quickly validate withholding amounts, identify discrepancies before filing deadlines, and generate documentation for audits or tax authority inquiries.

Reading the Data
Each row in the report represents a single talent's local tax withholding for one jurisdiction during the selected time period. Understanding each field helps you validate calculations, identify trends, and prepare accurate tax filings.

| Region | The geographic region or organizational division where the withholding occurred. |

| Talent Name | The full name of the talent or employee for whom local taxes were withheld. |
| Local Jurisdiction / Locality Name | The name of the city, municipality, or local taxing authority where withholding applies. |
| Gross Amount | Total gross earnings for the talent during the selected period, before any deductions or withholding. |
| Taxable Gross | The portion of gross earnings subject to taxation under local tax rules, excluding non-taxable income such as reimbursements or certain benefits. |
| Subject Gross | The specific amount of earnings subject to local tax withholding after applying jurisdiction-specific exemptions, thresholds, or adjustments. |
| Tax Amount | The total amount of local tax withheld from the talent's earnings for the specified jurisdiction and time period. |

Exporting Your Data
Export your report data to share with stakeholders, perform additional analysis, or maintain records outside of Avionté.
- Apply any filters you want included in your export.
- Click the three-dot menu icon (⋮) in the top right corner of the report area.
- Select your preferred format from the Download submenu:
- Image: Creates a visual snapshot of the report as currently displayed.
- CSV File: Exports raw data compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and database tools.
- PDF File: Generates a formatted document suitable for printing or formal distribution.
Additional Export Options
The three-dot menu also provides options to repeat rows (useful for printing), merge rows, and other display customizations. These settings affect how your report appears on screen and in exports.
Refreshing the Report
Avionté automatically refreshes report data every 5 minutes. If you want to see the most current invoice and payment data immediately after changing filters or after new transactions have been recorded, you can manually refresh.
- Locate the circular arrow icon above the filter panel on the right side of the screen.
- Hover over the icon to see it expand and display the word “UPDATE.”
- Click the icon to re-run the report based on your current filter selections.
The report will reload with the latest data from your database, reflecting any new invoices, payments, or balance changes since you last viewed it.
