Field Descriptions
Field Name | Required | Description |
Report Name | X | Unique name of the report per owner |
Dashboard |
X | Select the dashboard the report is based on. |
Format |

Select the format of the report, CSV, Excel, PDF, or a Link to the dashboard. You can select one or multiple formats. |
Recipients |
Note: Reports can also be sent to external emails. Required if Archive to is not specified. Enter one or more recipients. |

Schedule |

Time Based: Based on needs and requirements of the user, the dashboards can be scheduled in various "Time Based" Frequency like One Time, Hourly, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. |
Settings descriptions
Following options are available for scheduled Dashboards:
Settings option | Description |
Edit |
Edit the scheduled dashboard - This opens the same screen as the Add New Dashboard/Report button, but with your current dashboard's details. |
Duplicate | Duplicate - Create a copy of the dashboard. The copied dashboard has (1) added to the dashboard name and is disabled by default. |
Delete | Delete the dashboard. |
Turn subscription on/off | Turn the subscription on or off. Turning a subscription off does not stop running dashboard, only prevents future dashboards from being sent. Dashboards that are turned off will be deleted from the pending queue. |
Send Report/Cancel Report | Activate or cancel the report. This changes the status to Running/Not Running. |
Sending a Report (Dashboard)
- Click on the Report Manager tab
- Click on the Add New Report button
- Below are the options for creating the report
Content
- Enter information into the following fields:
- Report Name: Enter a Title for the Report
- Note: The Report Name will be the Email subject line
- Dashboards: Select a Dashboard to include
- Note: Only 1 Dashboard can be included per Report
- Note: Only 1 Dashboard can be included per Report
- Click on the Create Report button at the bottom right
- Report Name: Enter a Title for the Report
Settings
There are 3 sub tabs in the Settings section.
Format
Select all the checkboxes to include in the Report
Recipients
Click in the Search field to select an existing user or type in a new external email.
Click in the Send error notification to field to include error reports (not required but suggested)
Note: We recommend adding your email
Schedule
Utilize Time Based option to trigger the schedule of the Dashboard being sent.
Time Based
Select a schedule to send the Report (Date and Time)
- Time Frame: Select the start and end dates for scheduling of the Report
Note: You can select Never for the end date
There may be additional options depending on how often to repeat the sending of the Report.
Notice when Weekly is selected, I can select the day of the week
Once everything has been entered, click on the Create Report button
This is how it will look once complete
Instantly send Report
- Click on the 3 dots icon to the right of the Report
- Click on Send report
Delete a Report
- Click on the 3 dots icon to the right of the Report
- Click on Delete
- Click on the Delete button

Troubleshooting
Reports are failing
- Dashboard Sharing - Make sure the dashboard to export is shared with all the recipients of the dashboard.
- If report errors out, try to reduce the size.
- If report is successfully sent but a user does not receive it, check the spam folder, as there can be a delay of up to 10 mins.
