Install the Add-In for Outlook 2007 & Newer

Follow these instructions to install the Avionté Outlook Add-Ins for Outlook 2007 or Newer.

Note: If you already have an older version of the Avionté Outlook Add-In running, you must first uninstall it. 

For environments using 1 machine for many users (virtual, etc.)

Outlook Add Ins are compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit. They are not compatible with Mac computers.

Install the Outlook Add-In

1. First, save any unfinished work and close / shut down Outlook.
2. If you have an older Outlook Add-In running, you need to uninstall it before proceeding.

3. Now activate the New Avionté Outlook Add-In from the Avionté Marketplace.
   1. Go to the main menu > Avionté Marketplace > Search for "outlook" > Click Settings.
      
      
      
      
   2. The Integrate Outlook with Avionté dialog appears.
      
      
      
      
4. Click the Download the Avionté Outlook Add-In button.
5. Once the download is complete, run the file.
   
   
   
   
6. Some Windows computers will ask you for permission. It is safe to proceed.
   
   
   
   Note: If you are missing any required software; you will be prompted to install it
7. Click Install
   
   
   
   
8. Now Follow the prompts through to completion.

Setup in Outlook

1. Once you finish the installation process, open Outlook.
2. When Outlook opens, you'll find the Avionté Add-Ins under the Add-ins Tab:
   
   
   
   
   1. Now you need to authenticate your Avionté account.
3. Click on any of the Add-In buttons and the associated login window will appear.
4. Enter your the credentials associated with your Avionté account. 
   1. You'll need your email, Avionté password and Avionté Build ID.
   2. Company Build is the start of your domain. (e.g. https://COMPANY.myavionte.com)
      
      
      
      
5. After you've completed the authentication process you can add the buttons to your Quick Access Toolbar
6. Right click on each individual button and click add to the toolbar.

Update your credentials

This will show you how to change your password for the Outlook Connector Addin.

1. Open Outlook
2. Click Add-ins Tab
3. Click View Profile
   
   
4. Update your credentials: Email, Password or Build.
5. Click Go!
