Applicant Marketing Summary Report

Overview

The Applicant Marketing Summary report provides an overview of how many applicants there were each week, breaking down the sources (Indeed, Zip Recruiter, website, etc.).

Locating the Report

  1. Click on Analyze Tab
    The Reports Sub Tab will automatically be selected
  2. In the Search Reports field, type MARKETING
  3. Click on the Applicant Marketing Report

Logic

The Applicant Marketing Summary report provides an overview of how many applicants there were each week, breaking down the sources (Indeed, Zip Recruiter, website, etc.).

View where your applicants are finding your job board from.

Filter Options

Positions All available Job's list (Job Title and Job ID) Use this filter to refine Job
Date From   Use this filter to refine web applicant applied for the job between the Date Range
Date To  
Date Range None, Today, Tomorrow, ... When 'Date Range' is selected, 'Date From' and 'Date To' will be automatically disabled. The user will need to select either 'Date Range' or enter 'Date From' and 'Date To'.

Unique Applicant Sources

The number of individual sources. For example, a web apply from Indeed would be one source and one from CareerBuilder would be another source.

Uses cases
1. When web applicant's source is 'Applied Directly', 'Indeed Apply', 'Applied Directly - Applied through LinkedIn','THG', 'smp', 'mdb', 'lkd' then pulled web applicant's source
2. When web applicant's short source is non blank then shows in this field.
3. When web applicant's source has URL value then pulled web applicant's source from theURL
4. If non of above is true then pulls the "Other" text value.

Using the Data

Managers can use this report the understand where valuable candidates are applying from in order to focus their marketing efforts and money in the right places. 

On top of the applicant sources, you can drill into the "Applicant Marketing Details" at the bottom to view exactly who applied to which job.  
Lastly, if one of these applicants was eventually placed on assignment, you can view the "Applicant Marketing Conversions" drill down tab in the bottom right.
 

The report shows which external job boards are yielding the best results so that you can direct your marketing efforts towards the sites that provide the greatest ROI.
