Users can also create and provide reasons as to why a contract is being extended. In the Hired Details section, when a user changes the end date to any date later than the original date, a drop-down will appear for the user to provide a reason.
Create and edit the reasons contractors are extended by your clients.
Create new Contract Extension Reason
This is listed on the Job's Record > Hired Details widget > Reason for Contract Extension field
- Click on Account & Settings
- Click on Table Editor
- Click on Contract Extension Reasons tile
- Add a document name to the New Item field
- Click on the Add button
- Click on the Close button

Note: This field won't display until a date in the End Date field is listed.
- Go to a Job's record
- Click on the Hired Details widget
- Click on the Edit Icon (Pencil) for the desired Talent
- Update the End Date field to a date before the current date listed
- This is the date the Talent stopped working at the Job
- Click the radio button for the Early Termination question field.
- Clicking Yes will display the Reason for Contract Extension field
- Select a reason from the drop down menu
- Click on the Save button
