Set up Contract Extension Reasons (Table Editor)

Users can also create and provide reasons as to why a contract is being extended.  In the Hired Details section, when a user changes the end date to any date later than the original date, a drop-down will appear for the user to provide a reason. 

Create and edit the reasons contractors are extended by your clients.

 

Create new Contract Extension Reason

This is listed on the Job's Record > Hired Details widget > Reason for Contract Extension field

  1. Click on Account & Settings
  2. Click on Table Editor

  3. Click on Contract Extension Reasons tile
  4. Add a document name to the New Item field
  5. Click on the Add button
  6. Click on the Close button

Example of new Contract Extension Reason

This is listed on the Job's Record > Hired Details widget > Reason for Contract Extension field

Note: This field won't display until a date in the End Date field is listed.

  1. Go to a Job's record
  2. Click on the Hired Details widget
  3. Click on the Edit Icon (Pencil) for the desired Talent
  4. Update the End Date field to a date before the current date listed
    1. This is the date the Talent stopped working at the Job
  5. Click the radio button for the Early Termination question field.
    1. Clicking Yes will display the Reason for Contract Extension field
  6. Select a reason from the drop down menu
  7. Click on the Save button
