Set up Opportunity Stages (Table Editor)

The Opportunities Tab is a holding space for any leads that you are chasing. Potential accounts, contracts, or new business development; the opportunity tab can save any documents or notes that are revenue-generating. This editor allows you to create the stages which are used to help track where in the process you are with a specific opportunity. 

Create and edit opportunity stages and types.

 

Create a new Opportunity Stage

This is listed on the Company Record > Opportunities tab

  1. Click on Account & Settings
  2. Click on Table Editor

  3. Click on Opportunity Stages tile
  4. Add a name to the New Item field
  5. Select an option from the Item Type field.
  6. Enter a value in the Stage Order (optional)
  7. Click on the Add button
  8. Click on the Close button

Example of new Opportunity Stage

This is listed on the Company Record > Opportunities tab

  1. Go to a Contact's record
    1. Or a Company record and then select the Contact
  2. Go to the Quick Actions widget
  3. Click on Create Opportunity
  4. Fill out the information as needed.
    1. The Current Stage field will display the options
