Avionté boasts powerful search capabilities. However, you can help make them even stronger by tagging applicants with critical information. Our Tags feature offers searchable fields that you can use to enter applicant data pertaining to their skillset, etc. you want to be able to quickly search for.
There are two primary Tags features you can use based on your preference and needs: Standard Tags and Customizable Tags. There is no limit to the number of Tags that can be added. If you start tagging your applicants/talent, you’ll definitely get more out of Avionté!
Standard Tags
Standard Tags are hard coded and will always be available. While you can configure the options selectable within each one of these tags, you cannot change the name/label of these tags. Standard Tags tend to be the most commonly used when searching your Applicant/Talent database.
Position Category and Skill Tags
Position Category and Skill tags are arguably the most important Talent Tag.
Position Category and Skill Tags
- Allow applicants to select from a finite list when applying
- Can be sent as part of an Onboarding Task (Talent self nominates themselves for skills so you don't have to!)
- Are completely configurable by your Admins through Table Editor
- Used to Auto Match applicants
Position Category and Skill Tags can be edited from Table Editor > Job > Position & Skills.
Applicant/Talent Tags
Applicant/Talent Tags allow you to add various pieces of data to applicant/talent profiles. This data can comprise information that doesn’t appear on the candidate's resume and therefore may not be searchable if not for the tag.
Applicant/Talent Tags
They are set up as category/detail relationships, meaning that you choose a tag title and select the details from the dropdown menu. There is no limit on the amount of Talent Tags per profile.
Examples of common Applicant/Talent Tags are:
- Willing to Relocate (Category): Yes/No (Detail)
- Willing to Travel: Yes/No
- Drug Screen: Pass/Fail
- Shift Preference: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift
After tagging your Applicants/Talent, you can then search for candidates in the ATS using the ‘Applicant/Talent Tags’ search field. Users can add tags when parsing in new Applicants/Talent or by updating their current tags within their profile.
Applicant/Talent Tags can be edited from Table Editor > Talent> Talent Tags.
Resume/CV Tags
Resume/CV Tags can either be manually added as a free-form tag, or they will auto populate from an uploaded resume. While you can create your own free-form Resume/CV tags, the majority of these tags will automatically be created when a resume is uploaded.
Resume/CV Tags
To remove a Resume/CV tag from the database, you must remove all of those tags actively assigned to a profile; you cannot remove these tags from Table Editor.
Industry Experience
The Industry Experience Tag displays the same list of Industries available from the Company profile, however, you're able to add multiple Applicant/Talent Industry Tags, as an individual may have experience in more than one industry.
Industry Experience
The list of Industries can be edited from Table Editor > Misc > Industry Experience.
Applicant Source
The Applicant Source Tag displays the same list of Sources available from both the Company and Contact profile. Note, the Applicant Source Tags are independent from the source collected when somebody applies online; you must manually add the Applicant Source Tag from the profile to match with the online application source.
Applicant Source
The list of Industries can be edited from Table Editor > Misc > Applicant Source.
Custom Tags
Custom Tags will always be an option at the bottom of the profile, however, it is up to you and your organization to determine how you want to use them. You can add up to three custom tags.
Custom Tags
Common Custom Tags include:
- Rehire Date
- Birthday
- Referral
Custom Tags can be edited from Table Editor > Talent > Custom Tags
Customizable Tags
There are four customizable tags on the lower half of the applicant/talent profile. The tags come coded as ‘Certification’, ‘Citizenship’, ‘Quick Search’, and ‘Company Experience’. However, you can change the label and the selections on the dropdown menu to anything you need.
Customizable Tags
Just like the Applicant/Talent tags, it is a parent/child relationship. They are searchable using the ‘Applicant/Talent Categories’ search field in the ATS. The difference is that these tag categories are immediately viewable when you go to an Applicant/Talent profile.
Certification
Certifications Tags allow you to showcase Applicants/Talent who have desirable--sometimes necessary--certifications.
Certification
You can edit the label and selections from Table Editor > Talent > Certifications.
Citizenship
Keep track of an Applicant's/Talent's work authorization by adding a Citizenship Tag.
Citizenship
You can edit the label and selections from Table Editor > Talent > Citizenship.
Quick Search
Apply a Quick Search Tag to easily find an Applicant/Talent record.
Quick Search
You can edit the label and selections from Table Editor > Talent > Quick Search.
Company Experience
To easily identify Applicants/Talent who have previously worked at a desirable company, you can apply the Company Experience Tag.
Company Experience
Additionally, if you need an easy way to easily identify Applicants/Talent who have previously worked at one of your larger Companies that's constantly hiring, the Company Experience Tag might just be the easiest way to pull a list of qualified records.
You can edit the label and selections from Table Editor > Talent > Company Experience.
