What Can Quick Search Find?

Quick Search works across multiple entity types in the database:

Included Entity Types:

• Talent: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Mobile Phone, BOLD ID, Back Office ID
• Companies: Company Name, BOLD ID
• Contacts: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Mobile Phone, Work Phone, BOLD ID
• Jobs: Job Title

Not Included:
Company Offices, Sub Vendors, Opportunities, Placements
 

Search by Name

Quick Search matches names starting from the beginning of the field for optimal search performance.

Company Records:
Search by the start of the company name. To find "Weyland Enterprises," search for "Weyland" rather than "Enterprises."

Talent and Contact Records:
Search by first name, last name, or both. First Name and Last Name are separate fields, so searches match the beginning of each field independently.

If a name field contains multiple names, search from the start of that field. For a Talent with First Name "Mary Jo," search "Mary" or "Mary Jo" rather than just "Jo."

To search by name:

1. Enter the first name, last name, full name, company name, or job title in Quick Search
2. Review the matching records
3. Click on a record to view the full profile
    

Search by ID

All entity types support searching by BOLD ID. Talent records also support searching by Back Office ID.

• Contact: BOLD ID

To search by ID:

1. Enter the BOLD ID or Back Office ID in Quick Search
2. Click on the returned record to view the full profile
    

Search by Phone Number

Phone numbers are particularly useful when you have a phone number available but may not have the person's name readily accessible—such as from an incoming call, text message, voicemail, or business card.

Searchable Phone Fields:

• Talent Records: Mobile Phone
• Contact Records: Work Phone, Mobile Phone

To search by phone number:

1. Enter phone numbers using digits only, without dashes, parentheses, or spaces
2. Review the matching records
3. Click on a record to view the full profile

To find a record with the phone number "507-555-1234" on file, search for 5075551234  in Quick Search.
