The SMS Communication Log gives authorized users a centralized view of all Avionté SMS activity in their AviontéBOLD environment. From Utilities, administrators can browse inbound and outbound message history, filter by date or phone number, and link directly to the Talent or Contact records associated with each message. Note that clients using third-party texting integrations—such as Text-Em-All, TextUs, or Sense Texting—send messages outside of AviontéBOLD's SMS functionality, and those messages will not appear in this log.
Key Takeaways
- View your environment's full SMS history—both inbound and outbound—from a single location in Utilities. MFA text messages are not included.
- Filter messages by date range or phone number to find specific conversations quickly.
- See delivery status for every message, with error detail available for failed or undelivered messages.
- Access requires the SMS Communication Log user permission, which administrators must assign explicitly.

Filtering the Communication Log
Click the Filters button in the upper right of the viewer to expand the filter panel.
Date Range
Enter a From date, a To date, or both to filter messages within a specific time window. Either field can be used independently.
Phone Numbers
Enter a From phone number, a To phone number, or both to filter by sender or recipient.
Click Apply to run the filtered search. Click Reset to clear all filters and return to the full message list.
Inbound vs. Outbound Messages
The SMS Communication Log is the first place in AviontéBOLD where administrators can see inbound SMS messages—including messages from phone numbers not linked to any existing Talent or Contact record. This is useful for identifying potential new contacts who have responded to outreach, or for auditing all incoming messages regardless of whether the sender is in your system.
