Set Time Capture default for Single Day Time

Set Company Time Capture defaults

You can determine what companies you would like to default to utilize Single Day Time.  When this is selected on a Company all newly created jobs moving forward will be set up for Daily Time.

  1. Go to the Company that you want to set the Single Day Time defaults for.

  2. Click the Edit icon

  3. Select the 'Daily Time' from the Time Capture Method field.

  4. Click on the Save icon

Set Job Time Capture defaults

Note: When cloning a Job (with Daily Time Capture), the clone will default back to Timesheets and the Pay Period doesn't copy.  Currently, this needs to be manually adjusted to Daily Time Capture.

  1. Go to the Job that you want to set the Daily Time defaults for.
  2. Go the Operations & Financials Widget
  3. Click on the Edit icon

  4. Select the Daily Time from the Time Capture Method field.
  5. Click on the Save icon

Set System Time Capture defaults

When cloning a Job (with Daily Time Capture), the clone will default back to Timesheets and the Pay Period doesn't copy.  Currently, this needs to be manually adjusted to Daily Time Capture.

Note: Updating the Pay Period on Daily Time Capture jobs will flow correctly to Back Office (for pay).

  1. Click on Account & Settings
  2. Click on Table Editor

  3. In the Search Tables field, type: JOB DEFAULTS

  4. Click on the Job Defaults tile

  5. Select the default option for the Time Capture Method
  6. Click on the Save button

    1. Notice the Save Successful message
  7. Click on the Close button
