Manually deactivate Custom SMTP & Email Auto-sync

Users will need to clear their Custom SMTP settings before they can connect their O365 account with Avionté.  Users will also need to clear their Auto Email Settings before they can set up auto sync for desired folders.

Deactivate Custom SMTP

The Outlook O365 Marketplace App will replace the functionality of BOTH of these utility widgets (Custom SMTP and Auto-Sync Email).

Note: We recommend writing down the current information in the Custom SMTP settings.
  1. Click on Account & Settings
  2. Click on Utilities

  3. In the Search Utilities field, type: CUSTOM SMTP

  4. Click on the Custom SMTP tile

Copy current settings (Custom SMTP)

Take a screenshot or write down the information.

Note: The password field is disguised for security purposes.

 

The important information has a red box around it.

Remove current settings

  1. Remove/delete all the information listed.
    1. This information will automatically be cleared when setting up the Outlook365 Marketplace tile.
  2. Click on the Enabled/Disabled toggle switch

    Notice the toggle switch now displays Disabled.

Deactivate Auto Email Sync

  1. Click on Account & Settings
  2. Click on Utilities

  3. In the Search Utilities field, type: AUTO

  4. Click on the Auto Email Sync tile
