This feature allows you to define which fields, onboarding tasks, and documents must be completed before a recruiter can finalize a placement in AviontéBOLD. If any selected requirements are unmet, the system alerts the user and blocks the placement until those items are resolved.
How to Access
Account & Settings > Table Editor > search "New Filled Job Requirements"
Understanding the Five Sections
| Section | What It Controls |
|---|---|
| Fields | Profile and job order data fields (Pay Rate, SSN, GEO Code, etc.) |
| Job Details | Job-level stage completions (Drug Screen, Job Certification, etc.) |
| Talent Contract Types | Onboarding portal task completions (I-9 wizard, W4 wizard, Safety Policy) |
| Talent Document Types | Uploaded or e-signed file requirements (Background Check, Resume, etc.) |
| Age Restriction | Minimum age enforcement at placement |
Worker Classification Columns Explained
The columns (All Talents, 1099, W2, C2C) determine which worker type triggers the requirement. A checked box under W2 only fires when the talent's employment type is W2. A 1099 placement bypasses that requirement entirely.
| Requirement | All Talents | 1099 | W2 | C2C |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| I-9 (Contract Type) | — | — | ✅ Blocks | — |
| Safety Policy (Contract Type) | — | — | ✅ Blocks | — |
| W4 (Contract Type) | — | — | ✅ Blocks | — |
Add or Remove Required Fields for New Jobs
- Click on Account & Settings.
- Click on Table Editor
- Use the search bar in the upper left to locate the New Filled Job Requirements option.
- Here you will see five sections:
- Paths
- Job Details
- Talent Contract Types
- Talent Document Types
- Age Restriction
- Use the carrot icon to the left of each section's name to expand it and reveal the options below.
- Select each item within each section you would like to be a requirement for filled jobs by checking the appropriate boxes for each.
- Once all items have been chosen, click on the Save button.
- A pop-up will appear in the upper right letting you know the filled job requirements have been successfully updated.
Age Restriction
The Age Restriction section allows administrators to set a minimum age requirement that automatically prevents underage talent from being placed on jobs. This restriction is disabled by default.
To configure the Age Restriction:
- Expand the Age Restriction section using the carrot icon.
- Check the Age Restriction checkbox to enable the requirement.
- Enter the minimum age in the numeric input field. This value defaults to 18.
The field tooltip reads: "prevent placements for employees younger than this age." - Click Save.

Validation rules: The age value cannot be blank or zero. If either condition is present when saving, the field will return a validation error.
Once enabled, the system compares the current date against the talent's date of birth at the point of placement. If the talent does not meet the minimum age — or if their date of birth is missing — the placement will be blocked with an error in the Start Talent panel.
Permission requirements: Users with Table Editor permissions can enable the Age Restriction at the tenant level (applying to all jobs). Users with Sales Manager permissions can enable it at the company level for clients with specific age requirements.

Example Location of Required Fields
When starting an applicant on a new job, an error message will display if any missing fields or unmet requirements are detected. Examples of errors that may appear include:
- Standard missing field alerts for any incomplete required sections (Job Details, Paths, Contract Types, Document Types)
- "Talent does not meet the minimum age requirements" — displayed when the talent's date of birth is on record but they do not meet the configured minimum age
- "Talent does not meet the minimum age requirements due to missing date of birth" — displayed when no date of birth is recorded on the talent's profile
