If you have a contractor and would like to complete their assignment, simply change the end date within their contract.
Once the end date of the assignment has lapsed, the contract will change from Filled to Completed and the badge within the contractor’s profile will automatically update.
Important Notice: The ability to edit filled (aka: active) contracts is only available for “Finance Admin” users. If you are not a Finance Admin, you will not see the EDIT buttons within the contract. In this case, you’ll need to contact your Finance Admin to make the change.
Users can create and provide reasons why a contract position ended earlier than expected. First, users will need to create the list of possible reasons in the Table Editor.
Then when a user selects to edit an end date, Avionté will ask you if this candidate has been terminated, and if so, the reason why.
Then, this movement will be tracked on the candidate’s profile and can also be reported on. To get started you’ll go to Utilities –> Table Editor –>Hired Early Termination Reasons to set up the Termination Reasons.
Please note: When terminating a candidate, this information is not saved in their activity record.
Users can also create and provide reasons as to why a contract is being extended. First, users will have to create the list of possible reasons in the table editor. Then, in the Hired Details section, when a user changes the end date to any date later than the original date, a drop-down will appear for the user to provide a reason. All changes will then be tracked in the hire details log as well as the candidate’s profile. To get started you’ll go to Utilities –> Table Editor –>Hired Contract Extension Reasons to set up the Contract Reasons.
