Tasks
A task is used to note an upcoming "to-do"; as an example, leveraging the task type "client visit" and including your colleague(s). When you select the calendar icon, you will be taken to your email account where you can send the invite out.
Calendar Invite
When the calendar invite downloads (Outlook) or opens in a new tab (Gmail), you'll notice that the parties involved, task type, date/time, and notes logged in Avionté have transferred to the invitee.
Viewing Tasks
You can view your tasks from the Tasks tab.
The Dashboard's Event's Calendar widget will also house your tasks. If you have not completed your tasks, they will appear within the Overdue Tasks Widget until completed.
Logging an Activity
An activity is best used to log interactions that have already taken place; for example, leveraging the activity type "Interview Followup" and documenting client feedback after a group has interviewed.
Click on the "Log Activity" icon and select the activity type. Begin selecting the Users involved (if applicable).
You can take advantage of selecting the Email box if you would like to notify the User, via email, of the activity has been logged. You can also select the Calendar box if you would also like to track this activity on your calendar outside of Avionté.
