Adding Criminal History for Job Requirements

Some jobs may require background checks to be completed prior to starting.  Below it will describe the set up needed to add the necessary information.

Create Custom Job requirement for Company

  1. Go to the Company record
  2. Click on the Requirements Tab

  3. Click on the Create New Requirement Group button

  4. Add a Name to the Name this Filled Job Requirement Group field
  5. You can also start with an existing Requirement Group
    1. Select an option from the Select an existing Requirement Group to start with dropdown.
  6. Click on the Conviction Type dropdown, in the Custom Requirements section.

  7. Click on the Save button

  8. Now the Job Requirement Group will be displayed

Add Job with Criminal History requirement

  1. Go to the Company record
  2. Find the Office that the Job is for
  3. Click on the Create Job button

  4. Fill out the fields to create the Job
  5. Select the requirement from the Select a Custom Filled Job Requirement Group field.

  6. Complete all the required fields.

  7. Click on the Create Job button

  8. A message will display about the Job being created.

Edit existing Job with Criminal History requirement

  1. Go to the Job > Job Details screen.
  2. Go to the Custom Job Details Widget

  3. Select the Conviction Type for the Custom Filled Job Requirements field.
  4. The change will automatically be saved, and display a message

Example message if Requirement not met

The Talent will not be able to be placed on the Job if they have a Conviction Type matching the Job Requirement.
