Job Page Overview

The Job Details page in AviontéBOLD is the central hub for managing every aspect of a job order — from operational and financial configuration to posting, scheduling, approval workflows, and talent placement tracking. This article provides an overview of the icons, header details, and customizable widgets available on the Job Details page.

Widgets on the Job Details page can be added, removed, and rearranged to match each user's workflow. Use the Add Widget button at the top right of the page to add widgets to your view. Hover over any widget header to reveal icons for editing and repositioning.

Icons Used

The following icons appear in the Job Details header and provide quick access to key job-level actions.

Icon Description / Action
View Job Audit — Opens a log of all changes made to this job record, including who made each change and when.
Extract to Word — Exports the job details to a Microsoft Word document.
View Talent Screen — Navigates to the talent pipeline for this job, where candidates can be reviewed and moved through stages. See the Talent Screen section below for a full breakdown of this view.
Associate Interview Questionnaire — Links an interview questionnaire to this job for use during the screening process.
View this Job on WorkN Schedule — Opens the schedule view for this job within the WorkN platform.

Job Details

The Job Details header at the top of the page displays key identifying information and current status for the job. Status badges indicate whether the job is Open or Closed, its posting status (Posted or Not Posted), and whether the position has been Filled.

Field Description
Req ID The system-generated requisition ID for this job order.
Job ID The unique numeric identifier for this job within AviontéBOLD.
Back Office Order ID The corresponding order ID from the integrated Back Office system, if applicable.
Job Owners The AviontéBOLD user(s) responsible for managing this job order.
Job Branch The staffing branch associated with this job order.
Sales Rep The sales representative assigned to this job, if applicable.
Job Origin How the job was created (e.g., Manual Entry, Web Apply, VMS).
Interview The interview type or format associated with this job, if one has been selected.

Two action buttons are available in the top right corner of the Job Details header:

  • Add Widget — Opens a menu to select and add available widgets to the Job Details page view.
  • Create Clone — Creates an exact duplicate of the current job order. Useful for quickly creating similar positions without re-entering all details from scratch.

Widgets

Job widgets are found below the Job Details header and house all of the operational, financial, scheduling, and administrative information for the job. Widgets can be added to the page using the Add Widget button and rearranged by hovering over the widget header to reveal the move icon. The sections below describe each available widget and its fields.

Client Profile Widget

The Client Profile widget displays the contact and billing information for the company associated with this job order. This includes the client name, address, phone number, email, division, department, cost center, and billing contact — providing a quick reference to key client details without navigating away from the job record.

Custom Fields Widget

The Custom Fields widget allows organizations to attach custom data fields to a job record, supporting unique business requirements that go beyond standard job fields. Custom fields are configured in the Table Editor. From this widget, fields can be added by selecting from the Select a Custom Field dropdown and clicking + Add. Existing custom fields can be edited or deleted from within the widget as well.

Note: The ability to add, edit, and delete custom fields is controlled by the Edit Custom Fields permission under the Modification Access category. This permission is enabled by default for existing users and disabled by default for new users. When the permission is disabled, the field dropdown, Edit button, and Delete button in the custom fields section will be greyed out. Administrators can manage this permission in the user's permission settings.

Hired Details Widget

The Hired Details widget displays all talent currently placed on this job, including their hired date and placement start and end dates. Each placement row includes a Hired Details button that opens the Hired Details panel inline — no navigation required, and your table filters and scroll position are preserved when you close the panel.

From the Hired Details panel, you can review and update placement details including rates, overtime settings, employment type, expenses, pay basis, and more. Custom fields for the placement are also accessible here and can be added, edited, or deleted depending on your permissions.

Column Description
Name The name of the placed talent. Clicking the name links to their talent record.
Hired Date The date the talent was hired for this position.
Start Date – End Date The active placement date range for this talent on the job.
Note: The ability to add, edit, and delete custom fields within the Hired Details panel is controlled by the Edit Custom Fields permission under the Modification Access category. When this permission is disabled, the field dropdown, Edit button, and Delete button will be greyed out. See the Custom Fields Widget section for more details on this permission.

Shift Schedule Widget

The Shift Schedule widget allows you to define the expected work schedule for the job, including shift type, days, start and end times, and break hours. Shift schedule details are used for timesheet generation and integrate with the Back Office as soon as a job order with a shift schedule is created. Pre-configured shift templates can be applied here for faster setup.

Field Description
Shift Select a pre-configured shift template to apply to this job. Templates can be created system-wide or at the company level.
Shift Schedule Type Bundled Shifts require the same worker to cover all scheduled days. Unbundled Shifts allow different workers to fill individual days within the same job order.
Repeats The recurrence frequency of the shift (e.g., Weekly).
Shift Days The days of the week included in the shift schedule (Su, Mo, Tu, We, Th, Fr, Sa).
Start Time The scheduled start time for the shift.
End Time The scheduled end time for the shift.
Break Hours The number of break hours to be deducted from total worked time.
Note: Shift schedule templates can be created system-wide or at the company level in the Table Editor, making them available for quick selection on any job. See Shift Schedule Templates for setup instructions.

Operations & Financials Widget

The Operations & Financials widget is the most comprehensive widget on the Job Details page. It is organized into two sections: Operations, which covers job type, billing configuration, and time capture settings; and Estimated Dates and Financials, which captures pay rates, bill rates, markup, burden, overtime rules, and other financial parameters for the placement.

 

Operations

Field Description
Worksite Address The physical location where the talent will perform work.
Worker's Comp Code The workers' compensation classification code for the position.
Job Type The classification of the job (e.g., Temporary, Direct Hire, Contract-to-Hire).
Open Positions The number of positions filled versus the total number open for this job order.
Custom Job ID An optional custom identifier for the job, such as a reference number from an external system.
Week Duration The defined work week for this job (e.g., Mon–Sun).
Rate Type The pay rate structure for the job (e.g., Hourly Rate, Salary).
Withhold Emails When set to Yes, prevents automated system email notifications from being sent for this job.
PO # The purchase order number associated with this job, if applicable.
Invoice With Hours Determines whether hours are included on invoices generated for this job.
PO Amount The total dollar value of the purchase order.
Time Capture The method used to capture time for this job (e.g., Timesheet).
PO Remaining The remaining balance on the purchase order.
Pay Period The pay period schedule assigned to this job.
FLSA Classification The Fair Labor Standards Act classification for the position (Exempt or Non-Exempt).
Work Schedule Type The type of work schedule assigned to this job.

Estimated Dates and Financials

Field Description
Start Date The expected start date for talent placed on this job.
End Date The expected end date for the assignment, if applicable.
Mark-up % The percentage markup applied to the pay rate to calculate the bill rate. Can be entered manually or auto-calculated from bill and pay rate entries.
Min Pay Rate The minimum pay rate for talent on this job.
Min Bill Rate The minimum bill rate for this job.
Max Pay Rate The maximum pay rate for talent on this job.
Max Bill Rate The maximum bill rate for this job.
Target Pay Rate The target pay rate the agency aims to offer talent for this position.
Target Bill Rate The target bill rate the agency aims to charge the client for this position.
Employment Type The employment classification for talent on this job (e.g., W-2, 1099).
Burden The percentage added to account for employer payroll taxes and overhead costs.
Discounts Any discounts applied to the bill rate for this job.
Hourly/Daily Gross Margin The calculated gross margin per hour or day, based on bill and pay rates.
Estimated Hours The projected total hours for the job assignment.
Estimated GP The estimated gross profit for the job, calculated from estimated hours and margin.
Overtime How overtime is handled for this job (e.g., Paid and Billed, Paid Not Billed).
Overtime Rule The overtime multiplier rule applied to this job (e.g., 1.3x OT / 2.3x DT).
Overtime Bill The bill rate applied for overtime hours.
Overtime Pay The pay rate applied for overtime hours.
Doubletime Bill The bill rate applied for doubletime hours.
Doubletime Pay The pay rate applied for doubletime hours.
Expenses Determines whether expenses are captured for this job and how they are handled (e.g., None, Paid and Billed, Paid Not Billed).
Paycom Position The associated position identifier in Paycom, for clients using the Paycom integration.

Job Notes Widget

The Job Notes widget provides a free-text area for adding internal notes about the job. Notes entered here are visible to internal users only and can be used to capture client preferences, special requirements, context from client conversations, or any other information relevant to recruiting for this position.

Job Descriptions Widget

The Job Descriptions widget stores job description files — such as Word documents or PDFs — directly on the job record. Files can be uploaded by clicking the upload icon or by dragging and dropping them onto the widget. These files can be referenced when posting the job externally or sharing position details with clients and talent.

Job Posting Status & Options Widget

The Job Posting Status & Options widget shows whether the job has been posted to any external job boards or platforms, and provides the tools to manage posting. Click the + icon to add a posting destination and configure options. If the job has not been posted, the widget displays "This job has not been posted."

Job Ending Reminders Widget

The Job Ending Reminders widget allows you to configure automated notifications that are sent as a job's end date approaches. This helps ensure timely action on contract renewals, end-of-assignment communications, and talent transitions. Reminders can be distributed to the Hiring Manager, the Contractor, and the Job Rep.

Field Description
Send Reminders Toggle to Yes to enable job ending reminders for this job.
Reminder Period The lead time before the job end date when reminders should be sent (e.g., 1 week, 2 weeks before end date).
Distribute to Hiring Manager When enabled, sends the ending reminder to the hiring manager associated with this job.
Additionally Remind Free-text field to enter additional email addresses that should receive the job ending reminder.
Distribute to Contractor When enabled, sends the ending reminder directly to the placed contractor/talent.
Distribute to Job Rep When enabled, sends the ending reminder to the job's assigned representative.

Custom Job Details Widget

The Custom Job Details widget contains two configurable sections: Custom Filled Job Requirements and Custom Job Details. These allow organizations to capture additional job-specific information that goes beyond standard fields, supporting specialized workflows, compliance requirements, or unique client reporting needs. Values are configured in the Table Editor.

Position Categories & Skill Set Widget

The Position Categories & Skill Set widget allows you to associate position categories and specific skills with a job order, improving talent matching and searchability. A primary position category can be set, with additional categories and skills added as needed. New categories can be created directly from this widget without leaving the job record.

Note: For more information on setting up position categories and skills, see Position Category and Skill Tags.

Job Costs Widget

The Job Costs widget tracks additional cost items associated with the job beyond standard pay and bill rates. Cost types, amounts, and notes can be added to build a more complete financial picture of the job order, supporting accurate billing and gross margin reporting.

Job Distribution Widget

The Job Distribution widget manages how the job is distributed to talent through Avionté's 24/7 WORK mobile platform. Color-coded distribution status indicators show whether the job is awaiting distribution, currently in distribution, or fully distributed. This widget is used by organizations leveraging the Avionté 24/7 app for talent engagement and shift fulfillment.

Job Approvals Widget

The Job Approvals widget enables an internal approval workflow for job orders that require sign-off before they are activated or filled. When an approval is required, clicking the edit icon opens the approval configuration. Approvers receive a notification and can approve, approve with notes, or reject the job. The widget displays the current approval status at a glance.

Additional Transactions Widget

The Additional Transactions widget allows you to define default non-standard pay and bill transactions for a job, such as on-call pay, mileage reimbursement, or equipment allowances. Setting these defaults at the job level automatically pre-populates these transaction types for every placement made on the job, reducing manual configuration and the risk of errors.

Field Description
Transaction Type The type of additional transaction (e.g., On Call, Mileage). Transaction types are configured in the Table Editor.
Input Type The unit used to calculate the transaction amount (e.g., Hours, Units, Flat).
Pay & Bill Term Determines how the transaction is handled (e.g., Paid and Billed, Paid Not Billed).
Pay Rate The rate paid to the talent for this transaction type.
Bill Rate The rate billed to the client for this transaction type.
Note: Multiple transaction types can be added using the + Add Transaction button. The widget must be toggled On to activate additional transactions for the job.

Commission Allocation Widget

The Commission Allocation widget allows you to define how commission is split among team members for placements on this job. Recipients, commission types, and percentages or dollar amounts can be configured directly within the widget. The total allocation must equal 100% before the configuration can be saved. Commission allocation can be toggled on or off at the job level.

Note: Users must have Commission Allocator access to add and use this widget. For full setup instructions, see Set up and Use Commission Allocator.

VMS Details Widget

The VMS Details widget stores information related to a Vendor Management System (VMS) connection for this job. Organizations that receive job orders through a third-party VMS use this widget to capture VMS-specific job identifiers, submission limits, notes, and requirements — keeping all relevant VMS data accessible directly from the job record.

Field Description
VMS ID The job's identifier within the connected VMS platform.
VMS Name The name of the VMS platform associated with this job.
Max Submittals The maximum number of candidate submittals permitted by the VMS for this job.
VMS Notes Free-text notes related to the VMS job order or instructions from the client.
VMS Requirements Specific talent qualifications or criteria defined by the VMS for this position.

Job Sub Vendors Widget

The Job Sub Vendors widget allows you to share a job order with one or more sub-vendor agencies, enabling them to submit candidates for the position. Sub vendors are selected from the dropdown and added to the job. The fee percentage for a specific sub-vendor can also be adjusted on a per-job basis directly from this widget, overriding the default contract markup if needed.

Job Documents Widget

The Job Documents widget stores documents associated with the job order beyond the job description file, such as client contracts, statements of work, compliance documents, or other position-related files. Files can be uploaded using the upload icon or by dragging and dropping directly onto the widget. A document type filter allows documents to be organized and viewed by category.

Job Activities Widget

The Job Activities widget displays a log of activities associated with this job order, providing a running history of actions taken on the record. Activities are automatically generated as users interact with the job and serve as a useful audit trail for reviewing recruiting activity, communication history, stage progressions, and workflow events.

Talent Screen

Clicking the View Talent Screen icon in the Job Details header opens the Talent Screen — the central recruiting workspace for this job order. The Talent Screen shares the same header layout as the Job Details page, with two differences: the third header icon now navigates back to the Job Details page, and the Add Widget button is replaced by two new action buttons:

  • Search Applicants — Opens the Applicant Search panel at the bottom of the page, allowing you to search for talent across the buckets on the screen.
  • Show Applicant History — Displays the last 40 talent records you have recently contacted, showing Name, Activity, and Date for quick reference.

The Talent Screen is organized into several buckets, each representing a different source or stage of candidates for the job. The sections below describe each bucket.

Job – At a Glance

The Job – At a Glance bar appears at the top of the Talent Screen and provides an instant snapshot of key recruiting metrics for the job, updating in real time as candidates move through the pipeline.

Metric Description
Nominated The number of candidates who have been formally nominated/submitted for this job.
Pipelined The number of candidates currently in the internal pipeline/screening process.
Vendor Applicants The number of candidates submitted by sub-vendor agencies for this job.
Web Applicants The number of candidates who have applied through the web/careers page.
Auto Match The number of candidates automatically identified by the Matching Agent as potential matches for this job.
Total Declined The total number of candidates who have been declined across all buckets for this job.
Days Open The number of days the job has been open.
Days to Submit The average number of days from job creation to first candidate submission.
Days to Interview The average number of days from job creation to first interview.
Days to Fill The number of days from job creation to the position being filled.

Nominated

The Nominated section displays all candidates who have been formally submitted to the client for this job. The section header shows a real-time summary of Total Positions, Open Positions, In Process, Offered, and Interviews counts. Candidates can be ranked by dragging and dropping rows, and a sort/filter dropdown on the right allows the list to be ordered by availability, city, credentials, and other criteria.

Note: A star (★) icon next to a candidate's name indicates the job owner has not yet reviewed that candidate's resume from this screen. The star disappears once the owner opens the candidate's resume preview.
Column Description
Rank The candidate's current ranking for this position. Rows can be dragged to reorder.
Name The candidate's name, linking to their talent record.
Credit To The recruiter receiving credit for this candidate's nomination.
Representative The AviontéBOLD user who submitted the candidate for this job.
Nominated Date The date the candidate was nominated/submitted for this job.
Hired Date The date the candidate was hired, if applicable.
City The candidate's city of residence.
Last Contacted The date the candidate was most recently contacted.
Stage The candidate's current stage in the workflow for this job (e.g., Submitted, Interviewing, Started).
Available For Job Indicates whether the candidate is currently available for this position.
Resume A link to view or download the candidate's resume.
Action Action icons for quick operations on this candidate record.

Pipelined

The Pipelined section is used to track candidates through your organization's internal screening or interview process before formally nominating them to the client. Each job has its own independent pipeline. The section header displays counts of candidates Nominated from Pipelined and Declined from Pipelined. Pipeline stages are configured in the Table Editor and can be customized to reflect your team's internal workflow.

Note: For more information on using the pipeline, see Pipelining/Considering Candidates (Internal Screening Process).

Vendor Applicants

The Vendor Applicants section displays candidates submitted by sub-vendor agencies that have been granted access to this job. The header shows counts of candidates Nominated from Vendors and Declined from Vendors. This section is relevant for organizations using the sub-vendor feature to extend their recruiting reach.

Web Applicants

The Web Applicants section displays candidates who have applied for the job through your careers page or web application portal. The header shows counts of Nominated from Web Applicants and Declined from Web Applicants. The Unique toggle filters the list to show only one record per candidate, in cases where a candidate has applied multiple times. A sort/filter dropdown allows the list to be ordered by apply date, availability, and other criteria.

Matching Agent

The Matching Agent section automatically identifies candidates in your database who are strong matches for the job based on position category tags, skills, and geographic proximity. Candidates within approximately 50 miles of the job site receive a higher rank than candidates farther away. The list refreshes as your talent database changes, giving recruiters a continuously updated pool of potential candidates to consider without running manual searches.

Column Description
Name The candidate's name, linking to their talent record.
City The candidate's city of residence.
Zip/Postal The candidate's zip or postal code, used in proximity ranking.
Latest Work The candidate's most recent job or work history entry.
Last Contacted The date the candidate was most recently contacted.
Available For Job Indicates whether the candidate is currently available for this position.
Resume A link to view or download the candidate's resume.
Action Action icons for quick operations such as viewing the profile, checking availability, and nominating the candidate to the job.
Note: For the Matching Agent to return results, the job must have position categories or skill tags assigned. Tags are configured in the Position Categories & Skill Set widget.

Applicant Search

The Applicant Search section at the bottom of the Talent Screen allows you to search for candidates across one or more buckets on the page simultaneously. Search criteria include name, location, certifications, industry experience, positions, skills, and keywords. The Search in checkboxes let you target your search to specific buckets: Nominated, Pipelined, Web Applicants, and/or Matching Agent. This is especially useful for quickly finding whether a specific candidate already exists in any bucket for this job.

Field Description
First Name / Last Name Search by candidate name.
Email Search by candidate email address.
Country / State / City / Zip/Postal Filter candidates by location.
Certification Filter by a specific certification on the candidate's record.
Industry Experience Filter by industry experience type.
Positions Filter by position category assigned to the candidate.
Skills Filter by skill tags assigned to the candidate.
Keywords Free-text keyword search against candidate records and resumes within the selected buckets.
Search in Select which buckets to include in the search: Nominated, Pipelined, Web Applicants, and/or Matching Agent.
