Creating New Applicants/Talent

Avionté makes it simple to create an applicant profile by providing numerous options for inhaling applicants into the system. Applicant/Talent profiles can be created through any of the options below.

Key Takeaways

  • Avionté offers a variety of methods for creating applicant profiles, including manual entry, importing text or resumes, utilizing plugins like Echo for sourcing, and employing Outlook Add-ins for email-based applicant creation.

  • Manual entry involves filling out required fields and submitting the information, while importing text allows for easy parsing of resume content pasted into the system.

  • Users can also directly upload resume files, with the system automatically parsing the content for review and confirmation before submission. Additionally, mass uploads can be performed through CSV files or by sending resume files via email to resumes@avionte.com

Applicants/Talent Tab

Hovering over the applicant's/talent tab, users will notice multiple ways to add a new applicant.

Add New Applicant/Talent

This form of adding applicants/talent is completely manual.

Add New Applicant/Talent

Click on the Add New Applicant/Talent button, fill out the required fields and click Submit

Note: As a best practice for complete profiles, we recommend filling in First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Address, and Skill/s. Your agency may have different and/or additional fields.

Import Text

Import Text allows users to copy the text from a resume or document and paste it into the text box. The Avionté system will parse the resume and fill out the Applicant/Talent Fields based on the text.

Import Text

Once the text is pasted and 'Parse Text' is clicked, the user will be required to confirm the parsed information. After entering the required fields and adding tags, click 'Submit' and the applicant profile will be created.

Note: That Import Text will allow uses to perform a resume search in Avionté, but no resume documents will actually be attached to the profile.

Import Resume

Import Resume is the ideal option if you already have the resume file and would like to be attached to the applicant profile.

Import Resume

  • Upload your document or drag and drop it in the file box.
  • The system will automatically parse the resume.
  • Confirm the details are correct, add any necessary tags and click Submit

Importing the .CSV File

Note: The duplicate checking checks for duplicate Talent already in the system and not on the spreadsheet.  The email address used for duplicate checking is the Contact Information Widget on the Talent Profile.

Return to Avionté and click on the Browse button.  Browse to the CSV file that you created in the previous step and select it.  Once the CSV file is selected, click on the Load File button to begin the import process. After a few moments, the results of the import will be displayed. (Exactly how long will depend on how many candidates are in the file, up to a minute or two.) Up to 10 sample candidates will be shown, along with how many Applicant/Talent Records Avionté was able to find in the file.

Click to download the error report to review any applicants/talent that were not successfully imported. If you have additional templates to upload you have the option to continue on by "Uploading Another File". Lastly, you can elect to pipeline individuals to any relevant jobs.

Email

Applicants/Talent can be mass uploaded by sending resume files to resumes@avionte.com

Email

Note: This option is currently only available for our clients using our Front Office Only version of BOLD, not for our clients using the Integrated Back Office. If using the Integrated Solution, please use this email: Resumes@avionte.com

Applicants/Talent can also be uploaded in mass by sending an email to resumes@avionte.com. Each email can contain up to 25 resumes.

Once the email has been sent, the resumes will be parsed and profiles created automatically! Once all resumes have been parsed, you will receive a confirmation email confirming if the profiles were successfully created or not.

Note: that all resumes MUST have a first/last name and email address to check against duplicates.

The duplicate checking checks for duplicate Talent are already in the system and not on the spreadsheet.  The email address used for duplicate checking is the Contact Information Widget on the Talent Profile.
